I assume it was a mandate from the higher-ups in Management not to sell them early, so maybe your AMC just didn't give a crap and ignored the mandate?
Yeah they actually suck as a popcorn bucket too, I bought the wolverine one and there’s barley any room for popcorn and the inside isn’t smooth so a lot of popcorn gets stuck in between bits of the bucket

This merch is reminding me so much of Endgame merch or The Mandalorian S1 merch. Like, Dopinder's taxi doesn't even appear in the movie but it's the centre of one of the buckets. There are SO many merchandising opportunities in the movie but they've withheld 90% of them for the sake of not spoiling it.

I got the Regal Popcorn Bucket with Lid/Cup with Topper Combo since we only have Regal near me. I love the size of it, and really do enjoy the design of the bucket with Deadpool's katanas meeting Wolverine's claws! I also got a Deadpool shirt from Regal with Deadpool on it with a Metal-Band style font. I skipped the Baby Pool exclusive one since I didn't wanna spend $45 on it haha. I really wanted the Opened-Mouth Wolverine bucket but nowhere around me sadly haha.
I spent the whole day going to multiple cineworld cinema's looking to get babypool and finally got it at the cinema where they film the ads for cineworld which is amazing but the babypool bucket is amazing
They're collectibles bro, they didn't sell these for ppl to use popcorn in em, I mean they did, but these were mostly sold as collectibles for nerds, it was a smart marketing strategy

I bought a popcorn bucket from a theatre who promotes their items online. It comes with two action figures (wolverine and deadpool) attached at the base. And a Deadpool Wolverine glow in the dark cup (or was it light up cup?). I forgot but Its coming in the mail. Im excited. I also traveled to Peru and got 3 of the Antman cups (movie had came out while i was there) And in Greece i got to see Multiverse of Madness and they had a wanda helmet but it was sold out. In Mexico though, i did get a light up Wakanda Forever popcorn bucket in the shape of a black panther.
Personally I don't care much for popcorn head buckets. I got the regular popcorn bucket at Regal Cinemas. And it's equally awesome! And the cup is great with a fun Deadpool or Wolverine cup topper ❤️🔥
