I wish every fan knew and felt how much they want their new style to be accepted and how important it is to them. Taka said it himself. I keep seeing people commenting below their videos that they miss the old OOR, their old style and this style is not good, because it became American. Taka admitted that their sound is more like American style and not Japanese. But as he said "One Ok Rock is still One Ok Rock", I can`t see them less than four people making their dreams come true and fighting hard for it. It`s their journey, their life, of course they want to challenge new things. It`s so visible how much they love what they are doing and how much they treasure us and our opinion and how we look at them. That`s why I seriously want people to stop commenting/saying that they don`t like their style and want the old OOR back. I`d rather want them to stop being their fans. You must recognize their sincere work and wish to be accepted. For me, too, getting into their songs is harder now bc of the change of style, but I`m trying as I know they want us to love them. And I always end up loving every single song they create. I just felt like writing this down because they are so important to me and I want them be loved and recognized.♥
they evolved from an angsty bunch of emo teens to well-honed and professional musicians. People cannot expect musicians to do the same type of music for decades. That would be still water and it would become boring and generic really quick.

I'm still amazed at how even though they make music in English with fantastic lyrics and obviously very eloquent at it, their native language is still so much easier to express themselves. I love this band. They are so inspirational. I’ve followed them since the beginning. I’ve never been disappointed about their music, but the last 3 albums have really been about reaching out to those who need encouragement. That’s awesome. Side note: I always thought Toru was like so serious and least easy to connect with UNTIL I met them in person and got to chill with them for a bit. He is sooo much fun & so friendly. Him and Taka make you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Tomoya was to shy and quiet. Ryota was preoccupied with a phone call forever so didn’t get to connect with him. Anyway much love to all of them! #1fan

I've been listening to them since 'Keep it real' days, i've seen then evolve and i'm really proud of them. I gotta be honest, i can't find myself enjoying their resent songs that much and that's not their fault. It's just that my taste doesn't fit their concept anymore. I will keep following their growth and success and I will keep feeling proud of them.

古参アピールって訳じゃないんだけど今大二で中一の頃完全感覚dreamerが出たあたりからずっとファンです。でもこれって結構すごいことで、ワンオクが変わり続けたからこそ飽きずにずっとファンで居られるのだと思う。同じ音楽性だったら絶対自分の価値観の変化とともに飽きがくると思うし。

I've been listening to them since 'Keep it real' days, i've seen then evolve and i'm really proud of them.
I gotta be honest, i can't find myself enjoying their resent songs that much and that's not their fault. It's just that my taste doesn't fit their concept anymore.
I will keep following their growth and success and I will keep feeling proud of them.
