actually many orchids are a lot easier than other plants, when I started I was very worried too, but actually I still have the first two orchids I bought, after several years!!! I would recommend you try with some easy ones, such as Phalaenopsis Sweet Memory or some Cattleya species (such as intermedia) and hybrids, you would be surprised how easy to grow they are
hello, unfortunately all USA nurseries I checked, have this orchid out of stock. I would suggest write at this nursery in order to check when they might have it for sale again, it is a South American nursery in Ecuador, very well known even in Europe www.ecuagenera.com/Cattleya-intermedia-alba/en
Lovely. Would love to have it but I feel growing orchids is a much difficult job.

This is one of the more cold tolerant Cattleya species. I can take down to freezing temperatures.
that is impressive, where did you find this information?
Where can I buy a cattleya intermedia var. alba? I live in the US. Do you know of a nursery that has it? I haven't been successful finding it.

I’m in US too. Santa BarBara orchids has the alba form. Different purple and magenta forms are very easy to find on eBay.
