I'm amazed at how westerners can fully enjoy a noodle soup without adding anything more to it. Not implying that those reactions are not genuine though. Just sharing a little perspective from a local side 😊 Glad you're having a great time!

@@rangeless_ Personally, I'd add "a bit" of vinegar, "a bit" of chilli power, a tiny bit of fish sauce, a teeny-tiny bit of sugar, and, if available, some ground peanut. Sour & Spicy is my middle name :-)

@@rangeless_ That's a great point about the differences in how we season our food! In Thailand, it's very common to have condiments like chili flakes, sugar, fish sauce and vinegar on the table to adjust the flavors of dishes like noodle soups, padthai, and more to suit your personal taste.
@@joeybkk yes we saw a lot of the bottles on the tables but were too intimidated to try most of them! 🫣 But we are going to make sure to try them now to customize the flavors like a real Thai person! 🧡💙🇹🇭😁
