I doubt this would be Carry Optics legal anyway. No frame ride optics, I doubt they would consider this slide mounted given it’s non-reciprocating. Also, the firing mechanism is really an inverted hammer which would make this a single action, also no CO legal. Really seems like a gun that needs to compete in Limited/Open.

The pricing on this gun seems foolish to me. Maybe the cost to produce is really that high, but I doubt it. Seems to me they just looked at what the high end-2011's cost and decided they have a better gun so they are going to charge the highest price. If they got this down to $2,500 or less they would be dominating the competition market and pickup a lot of sales for people who just like fancy range toys. I don't think they need a lot of hand-fitting to make this a great platform, and could then start making a more compact model, maybe with a polymer frame, etc. for everyday defensive use.
I've owned enough SIG's, that I have forgotten how many, going back to the first P210's that came in the country (not rich, just old), including a brand new X-5. I also shot an Alien at the shot show. Box stock, no fiddle'n with, or drop in parts, the Alien is better, hands down, felt recoil, and trigger. Don't mean if your a real good shooter, you can't beat someone shooting one, but shooters equal, it would be tough day at the range I think.

i got mine ... and now a ATX is on the way
Never felt so poor in my life!! Great job guys !!!
Thank you ray for showing us a gun we can never afford or find 👍 not being a Butt either thanks 😊
Ah, man, it's decided, I'm moving to the Czech Republic. The women, the guns, it's got it all.
Does it take Glock mag? 🤔 Awesome shooting Ray
Nope 😂
The pricing on this gun seems foolish to me. Maybe the cost to produce is really that high, but I doubt it. Seems to me they just looked at what the high end-2011's cost and decided they have a better gun so they are going to charge the highest price. If they got this down to $2,500 or less they would be dominating the competition market and pickup a lot of sales for people who just like fancy range toys. I don't think they need a lot of hand-fitting to make this a great platform, and could then start making a more compact model, maybe with a polymer frame, etc. for everyday defensive use.
Good vid.
"Price point is not all that expensive. It Only right around $5,000." Lol bro, my truck was $1500. What do you consider as an expensive firearm?
It’s a hammer fired mechanism
Yep, corrected in the comments
Expertise .
OK, let's rile some feathers, but I would bet money you'd give the X-5 Legend a go with this pistol...................... especially my x-5 legend
Ok, let's do it! I am game.
I love mine but it gets really hot and its a nightmare to clean.
Does she get as hot as the P7 does when shooting more than mag or two rapid fire?
No Sir. The piston system is above the barrel.
@@XRING Hmmm... Ok. Then it IS something neat. I've always been mist impressed with P7's accuracy and ergonomics but hated how hot it got after as few as two or three mags, but that Laugo... I hate how it looks but form must follow function. Great video!!
My wallet ignited while watching this video.
