OK, hear me out: The Swedish tech tree is kind of lacking at the moment in war thunder. Nothing really new has been added recently and the JAS39 has gotten Nerfed many times and the fighter line is the only one that makes it to top-tier. There is room for another line in the tech tree since there are only four at the moment and the US one has five. Fitting in with a theme of the whole Swedish tree, I say in that missing line add a danish/Norwegian line. Not only would this give the Swedish tree a fair bet against others like the French and American, but it would also allow for the Danish or Norwegen F-16 to be put as another top-tier vehicle in the tree. Following this theme, as sort of a cherry on top, I know you guys are planning to add the F-18 to war thunder at some point. (possibly Christmas, which would make sense as a good Christmas present to the players) adding the finnish F-18 would secure the last needed top-tier aircraft for the nation. It wouldn’t quite be all of the Nordic nations top-tier planes, as Norway and Denmark have the F-35 and we’re nowhere near to that, but it would give more purpose to the Swedish tech tree. Along with this, only a few countries we get the F-18 so a good bet to make it balanced is to add other aircraft that the community have been begging for you guys to add for a long time. The eurofighter and dassult Rafael or however, you spell it; (I probably butchered that) would be a good choice in adding to other nations to complete balance with new top-tier vehicles in every tree. Also, try to add a better top-tier Swedish premium, because at the moment the Saab J35XS pretty bad at 11.3 as it is the same as the A-10C with AIM-9Ms but it itself pretty much only gets aim nine p’s and no RWR along with only 12 countermeasures. There aren’t many options, but if the Norwegian and danish line is being added, then maybe a vehicle from those countries would be a good fit. Please at least acknowledge this. It took me so long to write.
@CN_MightyDragon The J-10 is close to a 4.5th generation fighter. It should have very capable missiles. I have almost nothing in the Chinese tech tree, yet i would love to see it.
Interesting about the Shilka, but not strictly true. The Soviets had a long history of using air defence gun systems against ground targets. Their BTR-40 with twin 14.5mm HMGs, as well as all later vehicles were used against ground targets as a normal tactic. The difference in Afghanistan was the removal of the electronics to allow more ready to fire ammo to be carried. The BMPT uses two of the 30mm cannons used on the BMP-2 to allow it high firepower against ground targets. For some targets a heavier HE round is useful though so the BMP-3 kept a 30mm cannon and added a 100mm rifled gun for powerful direct fire capability with a decent HE round. The 30mm cannon of the BMP-3 is the 2A72 and has a lower rate of fire than the 2A42 cannon in the BMP-2. The 2A72 has a longer recoil path and is intended to reduce combustion gases building up in the turret. The BMP-2 had that problem so they only fired the gun at the lower firing rate so they could breathe.
After flying the yak 141 for over 700 missions I can safely say if the dogfight Is extremely close do not be scared to go into hover mode, if u want to get out of it go to 60 percent and put ur after burner on

Q: When it comes to unlocking vehicles that are removed, why can the Maus be researched at any time if you've started it, but something like the Chinese PT-76 cant be researched after it was removed?
I know you can detonate the ordnance on a plane, but can you "ammo rack" them, i.e. hitting the magazine for a 109s wing 20's causing them to detonate and severing the wing?
you know what would be cool? giving the MiG-21S (R-13-300) the R-13M missiles the current R-3R can't pull enough G's to be useful they lose lock easily and when you are flareless at 10.3 NOT FUN, if you add these missiles and move the mig 21s br up a bit it would be a good plane for its price

I love war thunder but the one complant i have is the AA is more like just thair they shot at you bud dosennothing i barly got hit by them and whn they do they do no damge when thair bulet exposed can you please put the boat guner ai in the AA it will be alot more fun and maintaing when your low to the gound and make you more considert how low you are
