Hello, I realize that this video is 2yrs old and I've watched it a few times , just taking baby steps and taking so pics with my phone , but wanting to step up to an mirrorless canon , price range from $600.00 to $1000.00 , that also has great video capability, not trying to put you on the spot it's just that you've been doing toy photography for awhile and have been were I'm at which is the beginning , thanks Ray.
Thank you so much for this video ! My bf is a toy photographer and I wanna update his essentials..will be making a Christmas bag with all these items 😃
I’m a photographer and filmmaker and lately I’ve been in a funk and not knowing what to shoot. You’ve just inspired me. I can’t open my Batman collection or He Man action figures but I will be buying some to open and use in this new awesomeness you showed me. Thanks man!! I’ll find you on Instagram and tag you on some I’ll take. Behind my job is an awesome wooded area so that’ll be fun.

Hi Jared, vielen Dank für die tollen Tipps 👍👍 das war sehr inspirierend. Du hast ein gutes Auge für die richtigen Proportionen, ich folge dir erst ein paar Wochen habe aber schon eine Menge gelernt. Mach weiter so coolen Kontent. 🤩
Thanks Jared, I am getting more into toy photography. Currently I use a Godox R1 RGB mini light and will get some more or Lume Cubes. I have been looking for a light stand/mini tripod to support my light, so the Manfrotto should do the job. The only thing I don't like with Lume Cube though you have to pay extra for the gels, where as with Godox R1 all in one kit.
@@sirdork730 Your welcome! I have a question for you about toy photography. How often do you do a photoshoot? Is it like once a week or something like that.
Dude this honestly was an incredible video! A lot of great info to apply to our own photography and channels! Was mental watching along and then a screenshot of me popped up!! One of my fav TH-cam moments haha!! Keep killing it man!! Hope to catch up with you soon dude :)
I had no idea that the little smokers could stain, so I'm glad I saw this before trying it out. Living here in Texas, it's hard to get fireworks. They're only available twice a year - Fourth of July and New Years.
Have you thought of using a shutter/cable release for your camera? This will allow you to move further away from the camera and still operate it via the "extended" cord (they have wireless or cable).
My thing isn’t gear so much I mean like u said if u got the figure and a good camera phone should be good. My thing is tryna find a good spot to take the picture. Tryin to find a good setting and background where everything looks proportionally right to scale. Not jus in the yard where grass will be as tall or taller than the figure. So it’s stuff like that if u got any tips that would be great.. also I have horror figures so I’m goin for pictures with those not so much storm troopers and stuff that I mostly see when lookin up toy photography
Great video, really informative, great way to give ideas, over all, like you mentioned you don't need a expensive or experience, just do it, and have fun doing it
