At approx 6 seconds per frame it would take 2 min and 24 sec to transfer 1 second of film at 24 frames per second film. No wonder opticals and special effects cost so much to produce. I love what you have done her and it certainly shows inventiveness.
May I ask where you got your motor? I am currently trying to build something similar. I have no knowledge of how to program a motor just a photographer trying to keep things affordable !

This is great, but my only concern is that you're going to wear out the mechanical shutter on your camera.
