Mike this just came up I remember way back when you built this when we was on the original WFM. How times flies comforting to know some of us are still alive and well. I got my first full size tractor this year a John Deere 2555 just did a cylinder head gasket replacement on it. I got clips just need to take time (you know how that goes with parenting and family) to make a video. Cheers!!!
Only thing I adjusted was the fuel screw. Otherwise for the most part it’s take off parts and put different parts on. That and oil supply and drain for the turbo.
Oil supply comes from where the pressure sender is. Its some funky thread, so the block was first tapped with a greased 1/8" NPT then a pipe and Tee added to keep the pressure sender and then install AN oil line to the turbo. The drain goes to the valve cover, but its not enough drop as I do get a little oil coming out the bearings and into the intake.....it needs to be relocated to a lower spot. @@James_scott155
How much did this set up cost and just curious where you ran the blowby hose that mounts to the valve cover I just had my 330 rebuilt it looks almost new I'd love to turbo charge it but not sure if it's even worth it
I bought an OEM turbo, china no name ones can be had for a few hundred, but you still need to be able to weld and fabricate as its tricky to get it all to fit under the hood. It make a little more power but nothing crazy. Was a fun project back when I had a lot more free time.
@@mikeduwe gotcha thanks I got over 10k$ in mine from rebuilding and repairs done I just mow with mine idk if it will be worth it until I get another tractor for mowing and make this one a small pulling tractor

you rebuild the engine? if you want it to gain power send the pump off and have it redone, can get it mildly upgraded for around 500$, put a gt12 turbo on it and run it, itll be fun and would probably stay cool
Its been almost 15 years since I did it, I dont recall. I think someone else that figured out what it was said it was no longer available. It was from a Deere skid steer with same engine as 332.

Like the orientation of the turbo on your engine. The skid loader manifold is a better option
Did you document your modifications on any forum or anything? I have a 332 and a turbo waiting to go on it. I was planning on intercooling mine.

What do you mean by the oil feed line being restricted? Or where can I buy it from?
There is a banjo fitting that threads into the top of the turbo for the oil. The banjo bolt has a small hole in it to restrict flow
Yes i bought the same kit, the hole size is .14in in the fitting, is that to big or does it need to be restricted more

I don’t recall the manifold part number. It was from a John Deere skid steer that used the Dane engine.
