"The only way to approach this, avoiding being in a situation of inferiority against this giant mass, is to commit one self to make a map, a schematic representation of the tree.
So we have to commit our selves even if we don't know how to draw, even if it will take time. We wonder how we're going to proceed.
If we do not make a schematic representation of this sort, we get lost between the branches and we don't know where to begin."
