I was having such a bad day today but this cheered me up so much that I cried from laughing so hard. It reminds me of my last brain cell doing it's best. Thank you for sharing this phenomenal performance
It's really a testament to how good this song is musically that even with the silly midi trumpet, it still be slappin. Of all the bands to find mainstream success because of a meme I'm glad one of them was Yes
@@JimmyRustler2112 I'm not, my dad was a guitar player so I've been hearing the acoustic bit right at the start long before he ever introduced me to the band in my teens. Yes is super nostalgic for me, and Mood for a Day always makes me think of my Dad.
well they didn't find mainstream success because of a meme, they had already become one of the most successful and popular bands of all time well before JoJo
yeah, what the other guy said, Yes was very successful in their day, and I would guess that most popular song by Yes is owner of a lonely heart, not even roundabout. looking at TH-cam views, Owner of a Lonely heart has 39 million views, roundabout has 8 million. I don't doubt that JoJo introduced a lot of people to Yes, but it's not as significant as it may seem.
Every single time, on every single one of these Trombone Champ videos, I just get this nagging questions at the back of my head... "What if someone actually played this on a real trombone?"
Close to the Edge would be interesting because aside from the intro (which to be fair is as long as many songs) it would be a fairly easy song, it’d just be an endurance test. What I’d like to see is Siberian Khatru. That solo would be near impossible I’d imagine.
TootToot’s Musical Adventure: Part 1: Phantrombone Part 2: Brassle Tootency Part 3: Sackbut Crusaders Part 4: Trombone is Untootable Part 5: Glissando Wind Part 6: (Trom)Bone Ocean Part 7: Steel Bone Champ Part 8: Trombolion
It would be cool if the devs decided to go all out and make this into “brass champ” so you could play more than just the trombone but I guess that’s the charm of it.
So happy that this great band finally made their big breakthrough thanks to JoJo! They're now even in Trombone Champ, so they're probably the next Dragonforce.
Genuine question. Can people read the text as it scrolls along? I have very shitty eyesight so for me it's just a blur unless I pause so I'm curious if it's easy to read for most people
Prog Rock: The final boss of rhythm games
they should make a lot more of KC songs. especially the songs that has brass section like Pictures Of A City or Fallen Angel
Any math rock song would be impossible to play in this game
You’re not wrong 2112 was once the final level of a Guitar Hero game.
I want to see someone put The Whirlwind by Transatlantic into a rhythm game. It's basically a single 78 minute song.
I want to see King Crimson's Fracture in trombone champ
"I'VE ABANDONED THE BRASS SECTION, JOJO!"
The sax you added in around 1:30 for harmonization is sending me. I love when people go all out on a shitpost.
I was wondering where that came from lmao
It’s crossing over from the alternate reality where we got sax champ
@@concoct_ion Hello I am here from Sax Champ universe. You guys are a lot less serious but appear to be having a lot of fun. Carry on.
I was wondering what that was LMAO
“How many people have you killed”
“How many spiders are living in your trombone”
everytime i think i'm done watching these i end up listening to 8 minutes of midi trombone. i think its finally time to admit that i really like them.
The keyboard solo had me in literal tears.

lmao The hold notes that are replacing a bunch of quick movements up and down the keyboard end up making whole mountain ranges
very impressive job on those instrumental sections

whether you're trolling or not this comment made me briefly lose my mind

You turned Yes into King Crimson
To be fair, Bill Bruford was a member of both of those bands
@@saltysunflowersugar7826 Now we just need them to ride the Adrian Belew connection and turn King Crimson into Frank Zappa.
something something Lizard moment
tarkus next, it has to be done
god yes
has the dawn ever
yes
💀holy shit yes
The charting, use of silence, adding of another instrument, and the playing itself are all superb, bravo
As much as I hate that you did this to one of my favorite songs, I am impressed by the charting 👍🏻
I love that he did it to my favourite song 🤣🤣
Best Trombone Champ creator out there.
This is the first time I've actually listened to the entire song. 10/10 would listen again.
Every single time, on every single one of these Trombone Champ videos, I just get this nagging questions at the back of my head...
"What if someone actually played this on a real trombone?"
I love how the breakdown at 2:25 sounds
The "to be continued" appearing made me so happy.
now all of Close to the Edge

F yes. I would love to see “and you and I” on this.
This game has taught us that the trombone is just a bassier slide whistle.
Yes
What's the band name?
Yes.
THE ORGAN SOLO!!!
TootToot’s Musical Adventure:
Part 1: Phantrombone
Part 2: Brassle Tootency
Part 3: Sackbut Crusaders
Part 4: Trombone is Untootable
Part 5: Glissando Wind
Part 6: (Trom)Bone Ocean
Part 7: Steel Bone Champ
Part 8: Trombolion
I've laughed so hard, omg, this gave me the thought of how chaotic wold be Thick as a Brick from Jethro Tull
This is amazing! I need to hear Siberian Khatru next lol
I love it! My only complaint is that the person playing is competent. I want to see this handed off to someone who has only seen the game.
Pink Floyd when
Knowing playing a note for too long can cause you to get stunned gives me so much anxiety now when watching these custom charts lol
This is the most in tone I've ever hear someone play in whatever this game is called.
Tbt high school when my insane band teacher had our marching band do a Yes show
how the heck do you march to prog rock
It would be cool if the devs decided to go all out and make this into “brass champ” so you could play more than just the trombone but I guess that’s the charm of it.
Lol look at the inferior instruments weeping in front of the magnificence of the trombone
We have trombones not.. Not *_brassers_*
Can anyone do 2:30 full perfecto? 👀
subbed, can't wait for Close to the Edge
I cried tears of joy at the melisma 2:24
Shoutout to the zoomers who didn't know this song lasted longer than the 1 minute mark
I obviously knew it kept going after the intro but wow I was not expecting 8 mins
Shame, because it’s a great song.
I'm a zoomer, own rock band 3 for the Xbox 360, it has this song, and I knew it was long, but not *8 minutes*
Part 1 and 2 used different parts for the endings
@@UltiTheBand woah nice me impression
You're gonna wake up the Pillar Men
I was waiting for this to happen
Trombones come out of the sky. And they stand there!
So happy that this great band finally made their big breakthrough thanks to JoJo! They're now even in Trombone Champ, so they're probably the next Dragonforce.
Congrats, fellow tooter!
YeAh. BuT CaN yOu PlAy FrEe BiRd? (jokes aside, what a great play)
Perfection.
when the trombone went bwaa I felt that
You need the world to hit some of those notes.
jon would be proud of you if he saw this man
We need more yes. Preferably south side of the sky
you did pretty good at Roundabout, now can you handle Close To The Edge
that or "The Gates of Delirium" 😂
@@twally87 or any of Tales from Topographic Ocean
“human is limited in what they can do…”
Imagine having to play this level for literal 8 minutes
Imagine close to the edge in a rhythm game
Was just about to comment this
JOOOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOO
I have no idea if this is PURPOSELY ever so slightly off key in some places
Genuine question. Can people read the text as it scrolls along?

No it's unreadable lol
@@penisenvy1212 Thanks that's reassuring lmao
Just barely
Not at all lmao. Like I can catch a few words if I really try
When I saw this I went "YES"
can't wait for walk like an egyptian in trombone champ.
Kinda disappointed it didn't follow the funky bass line :(. I apparently hear this song very differently than many
7/10, would be better if the trombone followed the iconic bass line
This will probably never happen since I doubt anybody has ever heard of it, but In the Dead of Night by U.K. Would be perfect for this game
It'd be even better if it was Jotaro playing the trombone
what did jojo mean by this
>jojo meme song
how dare you
I was hoping you’d do the bass line lol
I saw the background and thought it was Earth by Lil Dicky, thankfully it’s not
Why does it say To Be Continued?
It's a reference to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The endings for Parts 1 & 2 used this song
Tbh, I imagine Rick Wakeman would love this shitpost xD
I am a YES fan
This hurts my ears
now chart the entirety of nine-feet underground
really good btw might have to buy it just for this song
Now do King Crimson - Lizard
The lyrics hahahaha
*Brass Tendency*
Rick Wakeman would be proud 🥲
What are the quotation marks for?
Non't
Now cover Bloody Stream.
you did Wakeman's solo I kneel
Yes
