Join us in this epic collaboration to see how This Little Piggy pigments can enhance and bring the sparkle to your artworks!
As part of this collaboration, we were asked to use two of the new TLP colours, and to work in teams to create artworks that represent our Hometown. My colours to use were Agapanthus and Echeveria.
Join us as we show you how to incorporate TLP pigments, paint, resin and mixed media into your work, and we hope you are inspired to find the beauty in the places you live!

So it's the second weekend of the huge This Little Piggy Hometown collaboration, and today is the final day. My substrates today are a 10 x 12'' canvas and a 15'' wood round.
Pillow/Base:
British Paints Interior Low Sheen house paint in White, nothing added.
Colours:

My pigments and tube paints are mixed with untinted (neutral) gloss house paint (water based) and Jo Sonja gloss varnish.

Atelier Rich Gold
They were both mixed with Australian Floetrol, no silicone was added or any other oils.
I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around an inch above the surface. If I had to take a guess on the ratio it would be 2:1 or 2.5:1 (Floetrol to paint).
My hairdryer was bought from Kogan and the brand is Estelle. I use cool, low fan.
My style has changed and evolved dramatically since I took the Sheleeart E-Course and I can't recommend it enough!

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too.
My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.
