That's the best performance of this piece I've ever heard... That's amazing. I love the tempo and building the mood. The ending chromatique is amazing, you don't rush it like the others. Perfect accents. The best performance! I gotta admit that I'm watching your performance every day to play this pice like you!
so full of hope, so full of life, so full of energy ! Sad to know that the future ahead of that concert was a year filled with uncertainty and dread, but I am glad that this video was uploaded because it reminds us of what the world used to be . Thank you and love from Hong Kong.
Had to double check video’s playback speed as at some point I was thinking its value is higher than ‘Normal’... 😄 You’re demonstrating some mad skills! 👏🏻👏🏻
What’s your name? You deserve more support 1k isn’t enough!! This is so good And this piece is hard and it’s even harder to SLAY IT and that’s what you did
RH octaves most part is not super hard but the part where LH octaves and RH descending runs is the killer part, just hard to coordinate at any descent tempo....if only that wasnt in the score....
wow this was amazing!! could you pls consider doing a tutorial on this sometime?? could definitely use some much needed tips about this explosion of octaves
Great performance. I was having a question 2 weeks ago, u might remember me. It was about the part starting at 1:08. Im practicing it right now, but it feels odd to keep the tempo strictly with the part before and after. What would your advice be for that passage? Since its Triplets in the right i guess slow metronome work? Thank you in regards!
I think the key is not too be 100% tight with both hands. Focus on maintaining the tempo tightly in the octaves, and the right hand is just glare and sparkle. That’s how I think the passage is supposed to be played
@@WorldOfPiano yes, on 0:52 starts Cziffra’s arrangement, plus in the final section I believe pianist plays octave-chord-lower octave -chord , which is how Cziffra plays it
Would it be considered not putting too fine a point on it to say it's "Liszt" and they're certainly "octaves" (galore), but it isn't an example of "Liszt octaves". Very nicely done, though.
one of the best performances for sure 👍
Marta Argerich does well
@@kliangennadii7254 Cziffra too
Horowitz was pretty good as well, even if he takes a little license with the score..
On one of the best pianos.
Agree
Not only a flawless execution, but you've managed to capture Liszt's intended playful and energetic nature !
Agree
The girl shaking her head at 1:27 is priceless! 😂😂
Awesome shaping in the left hand - it adds so much - well done

what do you mean the future was full of dread? can you please explain what happened?
@@profahren8476 I think he was referring to how covid happened and a lot of concert got canceled as a result
Fazioli called. Something about the warranty on the piano being voided.
