Otters are my favorite!!! Also that drink bird swimming into the wall was pretty cute too. Haha. I've been to Seattle a couple time and I've never been! That needs to change!
The design of the under water dome would be great for a starship bridge in a sci fi film or series if it were built on a soundstage in front of greenscreen with a CGI starfield added during postproduction.
Last time I was at the aquarium my kids were 1.5 and 3. And were terrified once they saw a big fish in the big tank after you first enter. time to go back. greetings from Seattle. I saw this video because I'm a subscriber not because I was searching for the aquarium. welcome back to our city anytime
That's awesome! We should meet up next time I'm there! Follow me on Twitter if you don't already. We can keep in touch. (: That tank in the entrance definitely leaves an impression on a visitor!
yup! The aquarium has been there since the 70s! Really cool place to visit. All of the employees really care about the animals and are super nice and explain the facts you need to know!
I volunteer at the Aquarium on Tuesdays I'm glad you enjoyed it I love the Dome and it is amazing its top 3 of my areas to interpret " 2. Sea Otters 3 Octopus no order of favorites I hope you return and if it is on Tuesday 11-3 ask for Ryan Hughes and I will give more information of my marine life neighbors
Love sea creatures! So beautiful! I'm not a fan of aquariums or zoos but this one seemed spacious and used a lot of natural coral and rocks for the fish and animals. Since you've gone snorkeling and have traveled to many locations do you see the benefit of these types of exhibits? Just asking not doing a PETA protest haha just curious of your perspective!
+My Weight Loss Journey I don't like going to zoos! I started to boycott zoos back in college when I did a project on them and in my research I found ugly things. Before that I used to love the zoo. Now I try to go to conservation and research centers or sanctuaries for rescued animals that can't go back into the wild. With that being said, I still think that it's important to have some kind of place where kids and adults can go to learn about animals one on one. It's just not the same as seeing a picture. When you see a living breathing animal in front of you and you learn about it, I think it makes you care more about its well being in the long run. 💙✌️

Every time I'm in Seattle, it's incredibly gloomy. I'll have to schedule it better next time and check these spots out. :P
Haha, rain is kind of hard to avoid in Seattle. The great thing about this is that you can enjoy the aquarium even if it rains a little!
