I think it's ludicrous that a prize, ANY prize on a 50$ ticket is less than 50$! No ticket should have a lower prize denomination than the amount you paid for the ticket.

If there were any state lotteries doing that(i.e. if a scratcher was $10 to buy, and one won only $5), I think that would be totally wrong. That said I'm always disappointed when you buy a scratcher of a certain amount of money(i.e. like a $5 one), where you only win that amount(say like $5) back. That is better than losing all your money, but I always hope to win a slight bit of additional money.

Just saw your short and even though it was a fake multiplier. This time it didn’t have a lousy $1 or $2 on it. Here in Texas most of the time from my experience they have real multipliers like a 5X on a $20 ticket will give you a at least $100 and so on. Illinois lottery is the typically the worst with lots of fake multipliers. But I’ve had one real win all on a $2 ticket for a $50 win once.
