  • Alas Pilipinas U-18 go 2-0 in 22nd Princess Cup SEA Championship.
It's a strong start for Alas Pilipinas U-18 in the 22nd Princess Cup SEA Championship in Thailand.
Alas Pilipinas U-18 make it two in a row in the 22nd Princess Cup Women’s U18 SEA Volleyball Championship, beating Malaysia in four sets Sunday, June 9, at the Nakhon Pathom Gym in Thailand.
Alas bucked an extended second set loss to pull out a 25-20, 27-29, 25-22, 25-18 win, giving the national team a 2-0 record following Saturday’s sweep of Singapore.
Even with a strong start to the Princess Cup, the grind continues for the Alas U-18 squad bannered mostly by UST and NUNS standouts.
Up next for Alas Pilipinas is a showdown with Thailand on Monday, followed by Australia on Tuesday, and Indonesia on Wednesday.
