Great demo of the unit. Thank you for showcasing the tones these units are capable of. Definitely relevant in 2023. I have an LE and an EX and they both absolutely kill. I also own the competition (Helix, Pod HD, Atomic etc) and must say the Tonelabs are very organic. Amazing considering their age. I wish Vox would put out a reissue of this tech with a small few current features like 3rd party IR, a moveable stereo FX loop and full MIDI.
muito bom os timbres grava um vídeo ensinando como fazer colocar esses timbres na tonelab ex. eu tenho uma pedaleira dessa mais preciso aprender a colocar os timbres nela. ficou sensacional esses timbres vc é fera .
Somebody ‘finally’ put together a comprehensive video demonstration of this unit, with clear sound …& not showcasing ‘only’ the shrieking bridge pick up stuff. I had the ST model, and played it for years, as the guitarist in a praise and worship band, while filling in for (blues great) Clarence Carter’s guitarist, who was on the road with him. It sounded amazing, live, and when in audio interface mode, tracked arguably the finest modeled guitar sounds that I had experienced …into my DAW. Only got rid of it, because I dropped it once, and the expression pedal would not return to its default position. Do today’s high tech modelers sound, even as good, let alone that much better? IMHO, no. Enjoyed the vid. Thx.
It has less latency. In that regard yes it is. Most people will not perceive the difference but I can feel it and it is bothersome. The boss GT 1000 stuff has extremely low latency, however it takes more fiddling with the unit and custom impulse responses to get crushing tones that sound "right" compared to the helix line.
