- Sniper Elite multiplayer axis invasion mode gameplay using the officer and his trusty pistol. This was a punishing axis invasion walkthrough but also incredibly fun.
I do kind of wish there were some collectibles you could pick up on axis invasion to unlock some more sidearms because they're ridiculously rewarding to use.
Let me know what other content you'd like to see. I'm kind of tempted to work on another review of the game now that I've pumped so many hours into it. I might also do a little guide pointing out workbench locations to help out some newcomers. Finally I might do a little video giving axis invasion tips although the standard definitely seems to be getting better!

This is actually really hilarious, because a lot of snipers and designated marksmen can and will take any opportunity to shoot C.O.'s and N.C.O.'s first to throw the grunts into disarray.
To hunt a sniper, with only a pistol and while dressed as their favorite thing to shoot, is a ridiculously Chad move.
Radio Operator: The Jager? Last report places them at this location.

I feel like they should add in extra dialogue haha. Like the dude on the phone says "The Jäger is very close to you, why don't you just go and talk to them?" it would be better for immersion than to constantly hear the same lines when you call as well.

The advantage with using the pistol is there is no scope glint, even with attaching a scope to the pistol.
What about for the STG 44?,
All the sniper rifles have scope glint. None of the pistols or secondaries have it. Even when you add the scopes.
Do binos give scope glint?

Let's be honest, Sniper Elite 5's invasion mode could've pretty much been this game's multiplayer mode. The skill variety is a lot more interesting than rank 50 PC players stomping on rank 2 console players like you'll find in MP.
True. I only go multiplayer for 1v1's or 2v2's with my friends.
The multi-player is actually really skill based, pc players are usually just cracked at the game because most console players come from gamepass and are playing for the first time
Haven't actually tried the MP yet, keen to check it out but would be surprised if I enjoyed it as much as axis invasion
And if you turn of crossplay you only get half the maps I don't bother with the multiplayer.
There are noobs in invasion mode as well and I doubt that most players in MP were noobs when you wrote that comment. But there were definitely a lot of campaign noobs when you wrote that. And killing noobs in invasion mode is not too different from killing them in MP. You just get kills easier and quicker in MP.

Not sure if you noticed this, but you can use the stay focused skill to mark friendlies in the same way you mark with the binoculars.
the radius always disappointingly small, too often the AI don't even stand close enough to boost more than one or two at a time.
@@XSpamDragonX agreed, I usually just use it to mark like 3 or 4 at a time when they're pissed off. Or if I'm too lazy to use the binoculars
I bought that game cos of your vids and did nothing but invasion. Not a single other mission. I am really bad at it but I love it. Each win feels so good.

it took me solid 5 minutes to realise that this is all in multiplayer, i thought it's some alternate gamemode / challenge for singleplayer 'cause i have never play this game before, so that make this all even more impressive.
originally i was about comment about how scary it'd be for the enemy AI if it were their perspective, but those players must've been scard shitless going against a hunter that prefer it up close lmao

Usually these rounds go really well for you. Do you have any footage or a short comp where the allied snipers are able to take you down? Or maybe a video of you defending from axis invasion?
The gamemode is very easy, hard to get good opponents
@@kritischertrinker9971 then you get the rare time you match with an experienced player who knows about the focus mode and will pre fire on you usually winning. I myself also kinda abuse this when I'm being invaded (sorry Jägers!)
@@JudeTheTH-camPoopersubscribe yeah the only times I've ever lost were to people camping behind soft cover and SMGing me with AP rounds using focus. That and the one time I had 17 consecutive rematches with a pair of players of spy academy and they finally managed to trick me into taking an alleyway and then hit me from both ends. Otherwise it's been pretty easy.

Most Allied players are braindead. I'm only at 64 kills but I haven't lost once.

Axis invasion is so addictive I really hope they expand on it in dlc

Would love it if they continued to expand it. I think the biggest challenge for them is to keep the player base up as axis invasion relies on people playing through the campaign

That first match was CLEAN
To be honest I don't get how anyone can sneak up on a player from close quarters, I almost always, like every 5 seconds, be checking my surroundings with focus for the invader.

I always found the idea of a random player changing the dynamic of a game fascinating
I thought it was cool in Darksouls and played it Doom Eternal but this slow(er) paced gameplay makes it intense
Yeah it's a great mechanic, adds so much tension

I wish there were more people playing this game, especially on higher difficulties. No Cross is fun, but it really sucks on low difficulty where everyone is just popping out from behind cover and instantly quickscope headshotting people like Call of Duty.

I really like this videos, you remind me of chasethebro on elden ring and dark souls with your attitude and all.
And this is what the mixed lobbies are like. People with mouse accuracy and a monitor 2ft from their eyes.
The pair you took down right at the start with two head shots in around a second - must be kicking themselves.
You should put the soft point rounds in the pistol, crank up the damage for when you can't get the head shot.
I know right. If you want to do more damage of your pistols those rounds help alot since not many enemies are armored
They are kinda op lol. I also use them on the SMG.
I actually use them on the rifle a lot when I'm invading. I find that the extra stopping power comes into play way more often then the need to shoot through cover. Don't have to worry about a helmet stopping a shot against the sniper.
That second round I was like no way and then I thought he got a headshot

I tried using only iron sights on the sniper and it is hard

Too bad there are no more shotguns. Invasions would be great with shotguns. Gold plated too. I miss earning the gold. And a 40 level cap takes away the nice incentive to play for leveling. And the achievements in this game are a joke easy. I miss having 'brutal' achievements. It's part of what made me want to play SE4 for over 500 hours. Not this game. I feel like I am already done with it after only small time playing.

If you pause the game when you enter it tells you if it's co-op. It also only says "An enemy sniper has entered the game" in co-op

Most of my kills on allied snipers are within 20 feet, I hardly get the chance to snipe
Wow these players are incredibly oblivious. I have never been killed by an invader.
The map occupied Residents felt always allied sided when in the building bexause focus is so. Powerful there. I have trouble to find him. Even wihh so many ai alive at the time.
BTW if the text read 'an enemy sniper has joined the game' it indicate its a co-op. So expect that earlier.
(You can also check that by open pause menu and see if there's 1 or 2 allied players)
I was being invaded while playing on that map with a friend. We got panzerfausts in the cellar and used focus to find the invader and he had a ghillie suit so we didn't see him until I got shot, then my friend shoots a rocket at him and I see him fly to space lol.
@@roskcity funny enough I was downed by a pamzerfaust. The standoff lasted for 30 min but I lost sadly eventually. Lol
Also I was almost fooled by decoy he placed. I didn't know a decoy item would emit a fake glint.
