I love how these challenge runs become a form of puzzle solving, and it's very fascinating to see the solutions you come up with. I don't know how many more challenges there are to do, but I will definitely watch any that you make!

Easy way to kill Amelia in this run? Get the flamesprayer from the guy at the window and just circle around her with it on. I've literally killed her with it without ever running out of ammo and never having to dodge/avoid anything.
He even did this tactic in one of his challenge runs, and made a pun about amelia not being done, but WELL done 😂 Dont know why it wasnt on his mind here. I couldnt join the first live stream
Yeah I did do that in my gun only guide, but as I remember that still meant doing quite a bit of dodging. Also since I already upgraded my repeating pistol, there was the issue of twinshards. On top of that, if I remember correctly, in the livestream I initially went to Amelia just to see how my molotov damage was and to just give it a try to see how it would go. And then I kept going until I beat her.
Just a heads up, you are right about your spacing being off for the One Reborn. If you'd been about 10 steps forward you probably would've hit the head on the second bolt. Mergo's Wet Nurse has 3 sets of hitboxes for her arms, each one lines up horizontally with a pair of blades and they all have different zones. Her middle set I think is the one with the longest range and narrowest scope, so when you're surviving her jump it's likely just those hitting. For Gehrman I don't know if you can do it without dodging at least once, but going back and left sometimes causes the aerial attack to miss completely without the need to spam dodge or roll. This honestly looked like a miserable run to do, but kudos for completing it.
You could tell he was getting really worn out by the time he got to Laurence in the live stream. I wasn't surprised he decided to call it there and just finish it off stream. Man's a legend though.

@@theragebringer4424 just like after you riposte someone they got pushed down. But in this case the animation differ slightly from when maria got hit by augur of ebrietas.
I do an arcane build right now using the flamethrower in my left and augur to still be able to parry without a pistol and Moonlightsword as my weapon. Quiet fun to play but while it is pretty powerful it takes some practice to reliably parry with it. Pistol is way smoother to use and the longer animation makes it quiet difficult to consistantly get the visceral afterwards. Also i try to only use blood bullets if possible so making them during combat and lifestealing back up is an essential part of my gameplay.
I've just noticed: repeating pustol is actually repeating! It's not just a double-barrelled gun, it's barrels rotate when you shoot, so in fact it shoots very fast bursts
I think I know why you kept missing Paarl. The first shot was because when you first enter his arena he's totally invulnerable before his initial AOE. The following ones are because when he roars to regain his electricity after a stagger he actually loses the hit detection on his head specifically. His legs can still be damaged, but his head basically becomes invulnerable during that specific animation for some reason.

There's actually a trick to preventing Rom's meteor rain. She only uses it if you stay outside the range of her other attacks. If you move into the range of her explosion every so often, and then back out once the animation starts, she'll never use the meteor rain.
1. Not entirely accurate. It's rare but she can occasionally still do the meteor even when close to her. 2. The real issue was getting close to Rom at all after she teleports 3. As long as the small spiders are around, you aren't able to stay close to her in the first place.

This is the second video of yours that is a challenge run on this game which I’ve had to save to watch later after I reached the point in the game that I am in myself on my first play through, so I don’t spoil myself. It’s absolutely insane what you do and very impressive! I struggled so much in the beginning of this game and I’m only now starting to feel a little bit more comfortable, but it is still such a huge adjustment for me coming off of dark souls. You have such amazing determination! Looking forward to watching more of this as I continue to progress through the game.

He used proc from poison damage which is classified as environmental damage and beat the entire game. Worth a watch IMO & maybe a twist on it for Continue... ideas?

As for the Wet Nurse issue of it sometimes one shotting and other times being survivable, I assume it's because it's two attacks at once. Notice that the health bar has a very brief pause in between. Both attacks are probably the two sides of her scythes. Either one side misses because of range, or it misses because you were too far on the angle opposite of it. I could be wrong but that's what I was able to notice. Aside from that, great video. Kinda makes you realize how important stamina actually is, it's really easy to overlook

@@PressContinue Sadly I can't give much more info since I'm not fully certain either. I'm an editor and animator, hacking into games and finding hitbox data isn't my forte. However there's maybe others you can ask to be certain about it. I can try to help with video edits or something else though
My gun only run I did, I killed Amelia by sticking one bone marrow Ash into the flame sprayer. The bone marrow Ash will stay in effect until you let go of the trigger so you can use one bone marrowash for 20 bullets on it
I used it myself when I did that, and it wasn't all that great. Definitely didn't do it without dodging and that was at +6. Even if I would have tried it again in this run, it wouldn't have been at +6 to begin with. So that likely have been much much worse

I just got a funny idea for a DS2 challenge! Mime challenge, would have to be in NG+ tho, but it'd be beating the game, using the bosses's own weapon/spell against them, and wearing their set too if it is available, wouldn't really be much of a hard run compared to others you did, but it could be fun, and would have a big variety of things used.
Former military here. The Evelyn still does more per shot, but the repeating pistol fires 1 shots at once. Its just a normal semi automatic pistol with burst fire. And the burst is permanent.
How these terms are usually used when it comes to souls leveling is that the softcap is where the initial diminishing returns start and the hardcap where there's practically no benefit anymore. In DS3 for example the vigor softcap is 27 and the harcap is 50. So for a lot of bloodborne weapons the strength/skill/bloodtinge/arcane soft cap is 25 and the hardcap is 50. And hunters tools scale in arcane all the way to 99

Despite what you wrote on the video, seems Mergo's Wet Nurse sometimes one-shots you because multiple blades hit you. Slowing it down reveals it's a multi-hit attack, and 2 hits is enough to take you down. Slowing down at the one where you survive reveals there's only 1 hit.
Mergo has 2 arms, and each one drains half your health. The times you survived were when you were off to the side and only got hit by one arm. If you look closely, you can see your health go down in 2 steps

Pinwheel can in fact be difficult under certain specific restrictions, especially because you never have had to pay attention to his moveset before
I actually have died to pinwheel in normal gameplay on ng+ 2 or 3. He’s a glass cannon, so if you let him live long enough he will be pretty hard.

I think in Barons Castles runs, he flamed her without stopping to even use Numbing Mist.

It must have something to do with the hitboxes, but based on the footage it doesn't seem to be about the amount of blades.

My gun only run I did, I killed Amelia by sticking one bone marrow Ash into the flame sprayer. The bone marrow Ash will stay in effect until you let go of the trigger so you can use one bone marrowash for 20 bullets on it
I used it myself when I did that, and it wasn't all that great. Definitely didn't do it without dodging and that was at +6. Even if I would have tried it again in this run, it wouldn't have been at +6 to begin with. So that likely have been much much worse

I just got a funny idea for a DS2 challenge! Mime challenge, would have to be in NG+ tho, but it'd be beating the game, using the bosses's own weapon/spell against them, and wearing their set too if it is available, wouldn't really be much of a hard run compared to others you did, but it could be fun, and would have a big variety of things used.

Former military here. The Evelyn still does more per shot, but the repeating pistol fires 1 shots at once. Its just a normal semi automatic pistol with burst fire. And the burst is permanent.

There actually is a hardcap aince thats where the game doesnt even let you go higher. You mean softcap, which is the point further boosts are minimal.
How these terms are usually used when it comes to souls leveling is that the softcap is where the initial diminishing returns start and the hardcap where there's practically no benefit anymore. In DS3 for example the vigor softcap is 27 and the harcap is 50. So for a lot of bloodborne weapons the strength/skill/bloodtinge/arcane soft cap is 25 and the hardcap is 50. And hunters tools scale in arcane all the way to 99

Im honestly really surprised you were able to get through logarius, given how he has a move he can pull out that gives him a blood barrier, making bullets and throwables (like molotovs) go around him
If you interrupt his transition into his second phase, he won't have that barrier

Despite what you wrote on the video, seems Mergo's Wet Nurse sometimes one-shots you because multiple blades hit you.
Slowing it down reveals it's a multi-hit attack, and 2 hits is enough to take you down. Slowing down at the one where you survive reveals there's only 1 hit.
Mergo has 2 arms, and each one drains half your health. The times you survived were when you were off to the side and only got hit by one arm. If you look closely, you can see your health go down in 2 steps
Watching you fight the orphan really reminds me of that EldenRing trailer with that One guy on half a horse that looks like ludgwig kind of.
