Oh my goodness! If I had the tools, I’d do it myself. Body shops and the dealership are trying to tell me I need a new light. Mine works fine. Telling me it takes hours to remove the headliner. Come on guys!

Wow! I shopped around for a body shop because my mechanics wouldn’t do it. None of the shops had ever had to fix a third light on a mustang and they’re hemming and hawing about how long it’ll take to remove the liner. Add the price of the light. Mine still works fine so I’m unsure why they feel the need to buy another. Also, they keep mentioning a gasket. There doesn’t seem to be one in any videos I’ve seen. Only adhesive and or puddy. Estimates range from $350 for a few hours which seems fair. Up to $1,200 at the dealership.

@@rrginnydworchak No gasket. You use what I used in the video. You have some dumb mechanics. I'd seek elsewhere.

@kirkcoffman7893 Any kind of waterproof caulk or rope caulk will work fine. I have used both.

It will cost you $30 in time, effort, hassle just to return yours. And the one you get on Amazon is probably a cheap China import that will break in 6 months. I would just keep the one you got from A.M.
