Tori; Your smile and personality are infectious. Congrats on all of your considerable accomplishments.
You go girl!
Thanks so much, Tom! I appreciate your support!
Yasss 👐🙏
Wow! That's like playing a piece of music backwards, with two instruments at the same time lol. Awesome rhythm and timing and stamina! All the best!😀
Ahahaha wild! Thank you!
Your endurance and conditioning is out of this world you really get after it every single day overall great work 😁💯.
Thank you so much!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope oh anytime you are in fantastic shape.😁
Incredible honestly! This is beyond me.
Tori is the current world champion in smiles and the next world champion in jump rope running)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, just amazing! Congratulations!!
Thank you!
You are loved.. follow your instagram David goggins says don't watch social media in the morning.. get out of town.. Toris smile, attitude the whole deal is just so up lifting
Aww this means so much. Thank you! I appreciate your support and for watching!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope 😊😊😊😊
It was extra amazing to see you do this at one of my favorite disc golf parks!
Crazy 3.1 mile run/ jump rope! Ur fantastic and great idea
Thank you! I’m pretty confident that it can only get smoother as I figure it out more. Was a really fun video to make!! Thank you for watching!
Can you do a video on how to protect knees while jumping rope , what shoes are better and does a pvc/gym mat help the knees and joints ?
also you have a great smile
All amazing suggestions! I’ll add them to the list! Thank you!!
Wow so terrific! What an interesting concept in the sport!! Using both
legs and arms for this amount of time has to be a crazy workout let alone the timing, agility,
proprioception, and coordination needed to successfully complete this challenge. Way to once
again set the bar in the sport of Jump Rope Tori.
Exactly what style of Brooks Shoes are you using?
How is the arch support of these shoes in regards to
the constant impact of the foot in jumping. Love this direction Brooks Shoes is taking in the sport of jump
rope!! Love that your taking the sport to newer heights!!
Looking forward to more posts.
Hey! Thanks for watching! I’m wearing Brooks Running Revels on this one. Definitely one of my favorite styles from them. They provide a lot of support while still being light. They also have loads of styles in each type of shoe, so the options are huge!
That was awesome, Tori. Thanks for sharing. I can't really run (my back makes it awkward), but walking a 5K would be a whole lot more interesting with a jump rope! 😀
Oh for sure! Could be another fun attempt… 🤔
Thanks for watching!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope you're welcome! Your videos are awesome.
(Also, for clarity, I meant that walking a 5K with a jump rope might be fun for me -- you've already proven you can run one!)
Congratulations!!! That was amazing! That wad a great goal. I speed walk 5K's and jump after
You da best! 🤩Great combo of exercise for sure 👌🏼
This was crazy! Also are you coming to nationals tomorrow? I’m coming to watch so i hope i see you there!!!
Hey girl! Thanks for watching! No I won’t be there! Trying to take jump rope some alternating directions nowadays. Enjoy the day!
So healthy!!!😍🤩🤩
Actually my Mother use to do this often. She would run with a jump rope. Also on a side note, she would get a new jump rope every Easter. So the love for jump rope didn’t fall far from the tree 🌲. However Monday I tried running with my beaded and PVC ropes and it didn’t go to well. :-(. It was hard to find a rythmn, it felt like I wanted to also jump forward with my left foot to restart the cycle.
P.S. Props to you, for pulling off a 5k = 🏃♂️+📿.
That would be incredibly difficult, especially keeping your arms moving while running. I run and arms are normally relaxed , nice work!
Well done, Tori!
Thank you!
This video is such a journey
😂😂😂
please tell me what's tori on? she's always smiling no matter what. i'm envious af
🤣🤣🤣
High on life 🤪
Perhaps you're a pioneer of a new sport! Also, absolutely stunning where you are!
How wild! But hey, you never know… 👀
I need to try this
YESS! Give it a go!
Hey this is a great video thank you for the inspiration and enthusiasm. Can I ask which editing software that you use? This video was very well edited
Crazy but great
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I want to try that!!
How motivated do you get by jump roping Tori and do you make any key adjustment to your routine or do you keep it as simple as possible?🤔
What do you mean by “adjustment to my
routine” ?
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope like do you have your feet together when you jump rope or do you have your feet spread apart overall when you do a certain routine when you jump rope.😁
💎
Looks like fun! ;)
Definitely an adventure!
Have you tried jumping with minimalist shoes like vibram?
I have actually. I ended up with significant pain throughout my heels and arches and increased plantar fasciitis. I don’t have the body frame of leading running athletes and jump rope can be very impactful. I have found that Brooks Revels and Ghosts styles are great options for foot health with the support needed, but still lower limb muscle engagement.
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope thank you for insight! Also, since I got your attention, do you use any weighted ropes? If so, how heavy?
I've been jumping with 1/4lb and 1/2lb ropes from Cross Rope and Vibrams 😬 I love it, but it's great to get your feedback!
@@pandebono.overseas I stay away from weighted as they teach incorrect technique but it’s really dependent on your goals! My goals with jump rope aren’t necessarily weight loss or arm toning (weighted ropes are made for that). I want to do skills and hone my technique so I stay away from weighted ropes and don’t recommend them for folks wanting to do skills
@@pandebono.overseas As for Cross Ropes, if you love them and they keep you jumping, GREAT! They are never on my personal promotion because they are way too expensive especially for offering a product that doesn’t help progress jump rope skills. They are just GREAT at marketing
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope thank you so much Tori, it's not everyday I get advice from the world champion 🏆
5k jump rope run that's amazing how much have you practice have you had jump roping while running and did it take you a lot of practice to learn how to do that?😁💯
So this is really the first time I have tried this. I haven’t really done much running with the jump rope like this, so for sure it was a learning experience. If I were to do it again, I feel like it would have been significantly smoother from the start and I would be able to get into a stride pretty quickly!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope I see hey but overall you are just learning on the fly to the best of your abilities with a smile on your face and that's amazing.💯👍
Have you ever considered an ultra marathon jump rope ? The all terrain one. 😅😅😅
Marathon jump rope?! j/k unless @Brooks wants to pony up a fat check :)
Damn !
Next be 10 k and half a marathon and a marathon! Lol
I’ve gotta start training!
🤗🤗🤗🤗
5k, pretty bold. Try the attemp of 5k under 5 minutes.
Oh man, I’ll attempt if you attempt! 😜
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope challenge accepted.
34 minutes!
Great guess! Was 32!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope Thank you so much!❤️😊❤️
34 minute guess
Good one! Was 32!
Your video was only a mere 7 minutes long. How do we know you've actually ran a 5k and, if so, how many single unders did you do?
ABTW: I'm still waiting on your Skydiving adventure! Keep up the great work and love ALL your vids.
Hahaha my videographer kept me accountable, don’t worry 😉
Are you editing these? 🤣
I have a team of superheroes 😜
Okay, great job! Very impressive, buuuuuut let's up the difficulty by releasing a puma behind you. That'll get you under that 30 minute mark.
😳😳😳
Haha THAT would make for a good video.
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope Would be a good marketing tool too. "Brooks Running. Faster than a Puma." 😏
29:20
I think it is so tired!!
34 minutes
So close! 32!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope Good job! What part of the country do you live in where you are wearing a jacket? I'm in OK. It's been about 100*F here.
@@solodad001 This was in Manchester, Connecticut. It was a bit cool that day actually!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRopevery nice, one more question how old are you? My guess is that you could run a low 20-25 minute 5k without the rope. I think you are more of a sprinter than an endurance runner. Keep it up! I don't know how you let go of the rope and catch it again, all while staying so relaxed and smiling.
@@solodad001 I was running 19-20 5ks in high school 😉 Definitely more of a sprinter / mid-distance
20 minutes
I’m sad for bike camera
Me too - but it survived just fine! haha
😳😳😳 i mean…😳🫣🫢😬… 🫡 just 🫡
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for watching!
@@ToriBoggsJumpRope that was crazy. U run and jump rope so effortlessly. You can tell you have been jumping rope for so long. And also what a cool idea
