The pillarless coupe of the full size W126 chassis is such an elegant car. I love the sedans but the coupe is a step above. Nothing says stately like driving a 560SEC. Shout out to Peter and the rest of the Autohaus crew for refurbishment on the Becker radio. 100% stock is much appreciated.
What happened to the rear seat cushions, they look like as if there is dried and shattered foam under the leather. You hardly evr see that kind of deterioration in w201 and w124. Was this car under heavy sunlight and extreme temperatures for decades?
An 86/87 Merc are the ones to get.. they where built properly and will if looked after last and last. Sadly living in N Ireland purchasing any of these cars is impossible but as I love cars and is there a sexier car seller than Mary Ann ? I doubt it
Nice car but maybe I am being a little to particular but the outside temp gauge is faded and I have never seen that on any W126 all in all average condition there are better ones with nicer options Just IMO.
Autohaus of Naples ok no problem thanks for reply. what are your shipping cost to ireland be charged at or does it depend on the car the persons buying. How is shipping world wide calculated? Appreciate the response.
@@ZaneTravel233 Shipping international depends on the size/weight of the vehicle, the price and the possibility of insurance you would want to place on the vehicle during its time of transport. An actual cost is difficult to gauge. You can usually get an example of a shipping costs online with companies for example Ship Overseas or a company such as that... For us, we would need a bill of sale and then the container/shipping company would respond with the actual option pertaining to the specific vehicle, port, needs etc.
I was actually going to stalk this old lady today I seen driving one, follow her home and ask her price, it was MINT! This is the last remaining wicked sleepers left out there, they ghost the market to the unenlightened, but if your one step away from broke and find a nice one, steal mommies piggy bank, BUY IT!
What was the original msrp in 1986 or 1987, my dad had one of these and he restored it, the interior looks good like it was new, Do they still make these 560 models
I know in the later 80s they were like 90k or so here in the states. Probably 100k with all the goodies loaded up. And I see you can get a really nice one for around 20k now.
That's such a beautiful car right there, (with a beautiful lady selling it too). I've always liked those Mercedes-Benz 560 SECs anyway. I remember I had seen one 5 years ago on a car lot. That one at the time had about 110,000 miles on it. It looked pretty much similar to this one. It was the same color as this one, but the only difference about it was that it had clean, chrome wheels on this one. I sure wanted to get it, but I wasn't employed at the time. But it was probably a good thing I didn't buy it. Because the dude that was selling it said that the guy that had bought it had to bring it back because something was wrong with the fuel pump. And so, after the car had been gone for about 2 and a half months it was finally brought back to the lot after it was fixed. I think the car got sold to a new owner though. This one was a 1991 year model. That may have been the last year for that car. But the one that Mary Ann is selling here seems like it's in much better shape than the one I've seen from back then. Even though I still like the one I've seen from 5 years ago too
Peter could you be more steadily and more slowly in moving your camera as you film the parts of the car so we viewers could have a more time viewing the details. Thanks
This was my dream car back I in the 80's

nothing is impossible David - we ship world wide! ;0)
Autohaus of Naples
Oh I was aware of that but the major point apart from the shipping cost would be steering wheel being on the wrong side lol
I really love 126 series coupes and sedans. But i really don't like black, white or gray exterior colors and modified wheels.
Beautiful car and host, but you don’t pronounce the “H” in vehicle.

Thanks for pointing it out- however it has been fixed - we waited for a replacement part!

If you had the 500SEC back in the day your were the guy. If you owned the 560SEC however you were Don! Probably a stockbroker or a drug dealer.
Yes, this was a hot car in it's day and is still great today!

My only one beloved Mercedes Benz in all World! The Best to me too! I drove another but in 280 SEL, very powerful, beautiful and imponent
That's some pose in the thumbnail, and in the opening moment of the video. Do we not want to combat the image of Mercedes as the car of vulgarians?
The very Car Bobby was running his mouth about during the rap in "Every little Step"!
