Sold Sold Sold! Have a look at this beautifully restored 1972 Plymouth Duster. It is powered by a rebuilt 1969 340 that was bored 30 over with Keith Black pistons. It has less than 900 miles since this entire car was redone. The internals were balanced and a Comp Cams XE268H camshaft with .477 lift and 268 duration was installed along with an Edelbrock Performer intake and Quick Fuel carb. The engine made 365 HP and 386 FT LBS of torque on the dyno. The upgraded 727 transmission was also rebuilt and performs excellent. Power is put to ground by an 8 3/4 rear end with 3:55 gearing and Sure Grip. Many other upgrades were also added such brakes and Hotchkis suspension components. This Duster is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. Nothing was overlooked on this restoration. The body and paint are incredible. The interior was completely redone with seat covers, headliner, carpet, door panels, and weather seals. New rims and tires were installed as well as new dual exhaust with TTI headers and Dynomax mufflers. All the chrome and trim were replaced with new or is in excellent condition. The panel fit and finish is beautiful, and the car performs exceptional. This Duster did not leave the factory as a 340 car but was upgraded to this beauty.
