John Force and Jonny Lindbergh in the same day is quite something,I'm just here watching a bunch of legends wreck their underwear on the motorway in the rain with slicks👏😂!Cleet's elco burning John was a little funny
It's those pucker moments that keep you grounded. Also so cool to see how genuine and chill john force is off track 😎 (and cleeter turning into a total fanboy 🤣)
How cool is it that John force burned his hand touching cleets turbo. Lol cleet will have that story forever 🤣. And instead of snow tires you should have some custom dually wheels made that is as wide as your regular tires but just a dually would be something different for sure
Man I been there, that insane level of concentration you need with a on the edge vehicle and to much rain and almost no visibility. I stand in solidarity with you over that. Just keep being safe :)
Had the very same thing happened to me one day, was peddling a Kenworth on a greasy logging haul road and she put her arse out one side ping downhill, pucker was real💪🤣
My gf’s dad was A truck driver for multiple nascar Teams getting his start hauling for Bill Elliot I got to visit A couple nascar shops around Charlotte but most recently worked for the Dodge SRT Viper team It was amazing visiting that shop the amount of Vipers they had it was like an assembly line really cool stuff.
After Watching a large number of the racers running no wipers. I am reminded of the old jeeps, that had crank wipers. That are quickly removable. It also makes me wonder if a lightweight removable wiper setup might also be an idea for you guys. So many different ways to achieve said idea. without making it a pain in the bumbum come race time.
You know you got a damn good car and engine builder when you can take that thing in the rain.. I would definitely be nervous about hydroplaning but I'm pretty confident you know the car better than anyone, lol I worked for JFR years ago and John is such a great f*ckin' guy. On a side note, I'm glad this TH-cam channel is going so well for you guys! I have literally lost count of how many people have gotten into drag racing just because of your channel (and Steve's) who now want to go to races because of it (and have now gone to races) 🤘🏻
Man, Steve is a genius! Not much can stump that dude. Know everything there is to know about those big blocks. Can't have a better man in your back pocket. Keep on trucking Sick second crew!
lol , whew , rear wheels spin having to correct the wheel , you both looked at each other and started breathing again not saying a word .. racer in ya showed when that happened, good save..
This rolling documentary you guys are doing is just awesome. It's just like being there and for me living in Kalifornia', I would never get to do any of this fun and challenging stuff. Very inspirational seeing you boys with John Force who looks GREAT for his age and is four years older than me. Your vids are very well done and show the friendship and admiration you guys hold for each other! .. Garrett is shaping up to be one of the BEST in his class and you are doing a huge part in his apprenticeship!! Totally enjoyable Videos. Digg'N it all the way. Might have to open up my wallet soon and get involved again.. Thanxx.
11:47 Cleetus with a brand new drag car in the parking lot asks John Force to check out Toms ride, what a class act. The car community is so full of good people.
Running in the rain on pavement that has ruts filled with water is very scary at best, while hydroplaning can start at roughly 35 miles per hour depending on the amount of water on the road, the threshold for hydroplaning is roughly 49-55mph using normal all-season radial street ties. This can change dramatically with increased water, increased width of the tire and lack thereof thread. I can only imagine how nerve racking it is behind the wheel of Tom's car on street slicks, same as driving on ice or ball bearings. White knuckle Express. Be safe brother!
Love the Dodge D100 pickup that was beside Cleets car at JFR I have always wanted one of those trucks they are so cool reminds me of the wheel standing Little Red Wagon of the 60's
Love the channel Tom! Your reaction when you got a little squirrely on the hwy, no words just a look at Stevie👌😎 mint! , you've got a new subscriber from VGG crew!.
I work at the shop right there on the right after you left that first gas station of the video. I didn’t realize you guys were going to edgewater as part of this race week and was definitely not expecting you to drive by, especially in the pouring rain, highlight of my week for sure 🤘🏼
If you guys would wear polarized sunglasses you would be able to see through the wet windshield better. I know it doesn't make sense to wear sunglasses in the rain but it works.
I never thought race engines could be driven long distances on the freeway. I figured they weren't designed to last that long and we're simply designed for short bursts of power at the racetrack. That's quite a feat to have something that powerful that's also durable and drivable. Neat stuff.
those driving conditions at some point were like driving on a small lake lol with huge tires that screams I wanna aquaplane lmao glad ya'll made it in one piece
Holy crap! That was a brown alert moment when she slid! o.O Dumb question, but as I'm old(!), wouldn't something like the Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros that we used to stick on just about every "Pro Street" car back in the '80s be a better solution? Sure, they don't last and would likely be next to useless for getting all that power down, but for situations such as driving through that crappy weather, wouldn't they work a lot better? Stay safe and good luck!
I know the feeling, drove last summer with heavy rains with my beetle from 74 in Germany. Stopped by the nearest village and let me check my wheels.. Result was buying 4 new wheels..
Wow that was a pucker factor there.. What the hell was J force all in gear and hauns for..? And a sponsor plug.. Lol Bet Cletus turbos were hot. Kool dude
Two legends, one legendary race car…. Too much awesome for one video! I have a question for you guys, what about a set of dually rims to change out for the road trips? Help with towing and the water? Could that work? You have the space and height for them
275 duratracs on my truck and I have to put it into 4x4 when it rains. Great on snow, but basically useless on rain - easy to kick out the arse end (2nd set since 2016 and it’s the same deal whether new or with some k’s on them).
I wonder, if 1.0 2.0 and maybe the nomad have same lug pattern, isn't it an idea to invest in a set of wheels with all season tires, bigger rims, smaller tires, instead of mug tires or snow tires? or do you need the tires you have to save your spine?
Steve is the real deal. That reaction to the little slide was epic!
12:31 Priceless, John Force burning his fingers on your turbo has to be good luck.
Gotta put some Dna onto there
A little piece of Force will be with that turbo forever.
@@bigharrykochenbauls4567 Yea 3 purple fingerprints in the stainless housing.. lol
Even guys that have been around hot engines for 40yrs sometimes have a Momentary Lapse of Reason.
That had to the coolest thing with John force looking and talking to everyone. Lol
He lives in California though, I think….
cleater got his DNA haha
I met him in Bristil Tennessee several years ago, great guy. He's a talker, that's for sure.
@ Yorba Linda, CA I think
John Force and Jonny Lindbergh in the same day is quite something,I'm just here watching a bunch of legends wreck their underwear on the motorway in the rain with slicks👏😂!Cleet's elco burning John was a little funny
"i seen that at the race. It scares the .... Out of me when I go but em."
That was the sickest burn I've heard in a long time.
yup cleet got dissed
The way you guys looked at each other was like "Tom you shit? Yepp Steve, I shit" 🤣 best of luck guys!
Awesome to see John out there with you guys.
It's those pucker moments that keep you grounded. Also so cool to see how genuine and chill john force is off track 😎 (and cleeter turning into a total fanboy 🤣)
The more Tom Bailey gets comfortable the better the videos get imo still great content regardless
John Force, what a character. Legend
How cool is it that John force burned his hand touching cleets turbo. Lol cleet will have that story forever 🤣. And instead of snow tires you should have some custom dually wheels made that is as wide as your regular tires but just a dually would be something different for sure
Cool that you guys got to check out John's place! Thanx for the view inside!!
@8:10 Is that a hot dog grill??? GENIOUS!!!
The man the myth the legend. That was really cool seeing you all together like that. Talk about worlds colliding
I’m loving this. Two drag week videos a day. One of yours and Cleetus McFarland.
Yes sir glad to see one actually getting driven. No trailer queen there man keep it up
Man I been there, that insane level of concentration you need with a on the edge vehicle and to much rain and almost no visibility. I stand in solidarity with you over that. Just keep being safe :)
Daily drive a built V on radials lol. Almost died 80000000000 times doing so
Had the very same thing happened to me one day, was peddling a Kenworth on a greasy logging haul road and she put her arse out one side ping downhill, pucker was real💪🤣
Awesome tour, it sure didn’t take John long to check out the turbo, “It’s still hot” 😂
Johnny Lindburgh is awesome.

Man, Steve is a genius! Not much can stump that dude. Know everything there is to know about those big blocks.
Can't have a better man in your back pocket. Keep on trucking Sick second crew!
My nerves were shot watching that slide in the rain. I couldn't imagine being in the drivers seat. Best of Luck on your journey !
Tom Bailey........ The Boss..... Good luck Buddy !!

John Force wearing his full suit absolutely cracked me up. I wonder if he showers in his suit?
That reaction was priceless man no words
11:47 Cleetus with a brand new drag car in the parking lot asks John Force to check out Toms ride, what a class act. The car community is so full of good people.
Thank you for posting this video series. Road trips are always a adventure .
I love Tom and Steve , OG’s for sure , be try cool guys totally like to meet them 🤙🏻
Hi Tom, I'm new to your channel and loving it mate. That takes some big balls to drive that animal in the pissing down rain..
Force won two weeks ago in Concord, NC. at four-wide….
I knew John Force lived and breathed drag racing, after seeing what wears everyday!.Legend.
Nah, he only wore the suit because they had special visitors.
Up and Personal with John Force.. Awesome Tom..
Glad I found your channel, loving the race week content

Love the Dodge D100 pickup that was beside Cleets car at JFR I have always wanted one of those trucks they are so cool reminds me of the wheel standing Little Red Wagon of the 60's

6:32 Steve’s face had me dying 😂
With my man vice grip nothing that dude cannot get running again 👍

Tom will have some better tires for hhis next trip and save the slicks for the rack. Be safe Tom.

Great video Tom? Wow John Force the legend and all the other TH-cam favorites. I died and went to TH-cam heaven Hahaha!
Looking forward to seeing you in September when you are at Martin 131
All of you guys are my hero's
These videos keep getting better and better thanks for sharing the ride Mr.Tom

That's quite a feat to have something that powerful that's also durable and drivable. Neat stuff.
John Force man that guy is a funny car legend he's right up there with Don Prudhomme and Don Garlits and he's such a character too
those driving conditions at some point were like driving on a small lake lol with huge tires that screams I wanna aquaplane lmao glad ya'll made it in one piece
Buy the and it will not rain. Problem solved. Looking good also. Thanks for sharing
Holy crap! That was a brown alert moment when she slid! o.O

Tom and Steve rain warriors !
I know the feeling, drove last summer with heavy rains with my beetle from 74 in Germany. Stopped by the nearest village and let me check my wheels.. Result was buying 4 new wheels..
Insane to drive a 6sec pro-mod on the road in that condition😬
You can definitely see the pucker face on both of them would love to to follow Steve around and learn from the best engine builder around
Man.... I really love that you guys do videos now. I'm sure I'll comment this again..and again.
The infamous shot revisited, 1.0 driving in the rain with a trailer. 🤘
The ol’ chili ring was deff water tight on that. But the reactions say round 1 of the fight lol. 💪💪💪👍
We heard that cleetus!! If that happens that would be sweet
Wow that was a pucker factor there..
What the hell was J force all in gear and hauns for..? And a sponsor plug.. Lol
Bet Cletus turbos were hot. Kool dude
He was getting fitted for a race car.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels.
Kool to see JForce shop, thank u
there has to be a product you can rub into the windscreen to bead the water better for the rain hell even car wax might help
Saw that black label on the TV 📺 👌
Subscribed to your channel. Cleetus turned me to you so thank him for that. Kinda hope you beat him. Good luck 🇺🇸
John Force doing half track burnouts is one of the reasons I’ve loved racing since I was a kid.
th-cam.com/video/PAEdiuDBzm4/w-d-xo.html
race week idea!!!! suction cup mounted wiper motor that sticks to the windshield and wipes in front of driver then comes off at race track.
Best looking drag week car EVER! Best performing too!
NOT a word SO EPIC lol puck factor was a solid 5.99 :)
Keep on keepin on Tom 🔥

Your working on your own race car at John force racing that has to be a dream come true
there's windshield treatment liquids for sale that helps water pouring off and helps to see better on rainy weather, w/o wind wipers
The best vid I have seen on yt
Steve and Tom make a bad ass team!
It was that slick at 9:30 the rfont tyres were going the wrong way!!
Why are you not running egt sensors when you have the bungs for them in the headers?
I suspect they only run them on the dyno.
5:20
Paulie walnuts taking pics of hot rods
"Those Turbos shoot that stuff up in the air?... Yeah, scares that shit outta me when I go by em!" That right there is GOLD!!!
Loved the silent look at each other....yep, that just happened!
Definitely cool to meet John Force.
I can't imagine how puckered up that drive had you :)
Do you guys have lap belts on at least? In those conditions even if you don't like to wear a seatbelt.........
You gotta get some radios like Cleetus has in his fleet!
steve what a great guy. solid engines our local guy Lloyd's car still holding strong too
Very chill dudes right there man.
Nothing like a Pucker moment to keep ya grounded and focused stay safe in the rain.
