Hi guys, the slow gear shift "problem" is due to a screen synchronization issue. if the game's preset refresh rate exceeds 60hz, the game gives this problem. you can fix it by downloading the "widescreen fix" additional file and setting the frames to 60hz, and you will be able to play at maximum visual and sound performance. I play with a screen that can be overclocked up to 280hz, and in this way the game runs as smoothly as a bar of soap. Having said that, I hope you have fun!

I was playing Unbound today and accidentally picked a car that was just poweful enough to get to S+, and I was playing on Intense difficulty. It was truly one of my most stressful NFS races in years. And after somehow managing to get second place, I thought: "Can you beat NFS Unbound with the most underpowered cars possible?" The rules are as follows: • You must play on Intense difficulty. • You must always finish in the top half. • You must bet against the #1 racer. • You can only use the least powerful car in every category (B: 100) (A: 160) (A+: 210) (S: 270) (S+: 330). • You are allowed to use any car and upgrade/downgrade them however much you like, so long as your car is in the lowest possible rating of it's class. • You can upgrade weak cars to higher classes, but you cannot downgrade cars to lower classes. E.g. downgrading a S+ Ferrari to S. This is to prevent the challenge from getting easier, because believe me I tried it, it makes the race too easy.

(including the classic StreetX glitch with the AI haha), the corolla is actually the best car in the game (the handling is wild, though a strat for going quick is just grinding the walls / barriers as the collision physics were done by an intern or something, so you don't slow down), so I would have stuck with it
I've just finished the game few hours ago. This game is really really one of the best racing games ever (if not the best). The nostalgia that came with it was great , remembering the 10 year old me playing it for the first time. I just love this game ❤️

I started NFS U2 with Nissan 240SX and then graduated to 350Z and GTR. I also got Hummer H2 for SUV. This game was a blast compared to modern NFS. Last time I played this game was back in my teens on WinXP.

With proper Dyno tuning the Corolla can get up to 249mph in that game. Unfortunately, you give up some torque to do so. Making it slower than the R34 and Celica when shifting. Watching you play that takes me back. I put an unhealthy amount of time in that game.

Hey man, love your "without crashing" videos/series, but bro you broke rule #2 at 10:28 - 10:37 (you can tell you restarted by the place you were in at lap 4/4 during the first race, and then on the restarted race you were 3/4 on lap 1/4. It would've been much cooler to see you fully restart if you got hit and keep the momentum to beat the challenge.
hey bro, your comment fried my brain a little... you're comparing how I started off the line on the first attempt of that race compared to the start of the 2nd, restart attempt right?? Cause on the first attempt @10:07 I didn't jump on the accelerator straight away (which kept me last) compared to the restart race where I got the perfect launch which made me jump to 3rd. but I said I was gonna restart the race because I came 2nd, I just cant remember if I restarted in the menu or went back to free roam as I finished recording this video at the start of feb
