Love this version. U can definitely tell it is a rough mix considering they did not raise Laurie's vocals above the music on the first verse. They did an awesome job. Would love to hear the original Exposure album. P.S. This reminds me of my mom whose birthday is in December and is no longer with me..
I have asked Lewis Martinee if he is ever going to release the original finished EXPOSURE album featuring the original girls. I know the album was totally done, but then shelved when the second group were brought on. I think there are a few people out there who have it who were involved in producing it...but it is like the HOLY GRAIL. Lewis said he had been thinking about doing something special with the first album that never got released. But so far, I haven't seen anything.
@@SLEEPTHIEFofficialI wasn't aware the original Exposé completed the "Exposure" album. What I understand is that Sandeé Casañas left the Exposé before the recording sessions actually began. Alejandra Lorenzo and Laurie Miller did contribute backing Vocals. The original Exposé's rwo tracks "Point Of No Return" and "Exposed To Love" are the Holy the "Exposure" album.
I am not sure about that actually. I think I heard that Sandee did record several tracks including Come Go With Me and Running. But I can ask Laurie Miller or Lewis. My understanding was that the entire album was actually recorded with the original girls in its entirety and there were several tracks that were never heard of and replaced by other tracks when the second group re-recorded. I am not sure if the original album was fully mixed/produced, etc. But wouldn't it be awesome to get some of those tracks??? @@RaulMacias-o9o
Kenneth, thanks so much for posting this. It's quite interesting to compare this earlier version from the one we all know on the official album. The latter is indeed much better (and I don't simply mean the technical aspect of demo vs. final production). Gioia's voice has a piercing quality which complements the chilly vibe of the song better than Laurie's sweeter voice. It's like the heat of her voice is cutting through the ice of the song. And as much as I love Sandee, her voice sounds too babyish for the backgrounds here when unblended. Again, the song greatly profits from the more mature and anguished tone of the vocals--both lead and background--found in the second/final version.
Just a reminder that they kept the BVs from the original singers for Jeanette, Ann and Gioia to sing over. You can notice the difference if you hear the BVs on sophomore LP “What You Don’t Know”.
Wow Always Prefered The Original Expose Over The Other Expose Ale Lorenzo, Laurie Miller, And Sandee Tola For Life!!!🖤🙌❤
Wow!! I love it soooo much. Really prefer this over the later version. Such a big fan of ORIGINALS--

+JSvengali Great song though it wasn't a "hit" and I can understand why this song has great meaning for you.

do you have their whole album?
+tarea casteneda I haven't seen the entire album on You Tube, just individual videos or songs.
@@kennethwagner4916 could you post any links to the originals?

8?
The 3 OGs, Jeanette, Gioia, Ann & Kelly is 7
.💋
This version lacks EVERYTHING. Gioia, Ann and Jennette did a FAR SUPERIOR version.
They have weak vocals.
