Big Mom here is still conscious, has energy left and despite their barrages and bomb, she was still ready to fight. Unlike the duo who are so exhausted using their awakenings they couldn't even move properly anymore. My point here is while they did beat her, they beat her without us seeing the full extent of her power. No more than a year of lifespan used to powerup, no ACoC-fused attacks, she kept babbling each tine she has the chance to kill one or the other. This is equivalent of beating Freeza without letting him powerup to 100%
This isn’t DB you don’t need to vaporise your enemy to win. They beat Big Mom and Oda said they did. There’s no loophole out of this lol They stopped her from being able to use her homies, broke her bones, silenced her and send her flying. They win. How many times did luffy defeat an enemy by just using bazooka or send them flying? Did you take away the win from him? Look at Enel, everyone says Luffy beat Enel. He won the fight and then when they left Enel just got up. When luffy beat cracker by sending him flying into his own biscuits, do you acknowledge that Nami had to be there to soften the soliders and the homies to cover luffy whilst he ran from cracker to recharge? You still give luffy the win no and say “luffy defeated a Yonko commander” Luffy defeats Buggy and sends him flying or Wapol. They were defeated but just came back. Of course the two Yonko falling into lava is plot convenience but that’s the way Oda chose to write it. The victory cards and narrator never lies. Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law defeated Big Mom.

It was mentioned multiple times in this very episode. You do realise oda chooses all this dialogue. He writes the story. He’s telling us that they defeated her. Whether you want to call it luck means nothing lol. Luffy got lucky that Enel was lightning, got lucky that Nami softened biscuit soliders, lucky that Katakuri had honour and stabbed himself. Got lucky that he literally randomly happened to have the most OP devil fruit and came back to life. This list goes on. You just don’t want to give this win to them.
@@Ultimodestructico Also just to add on with what you said, there are data book statements that explicitly say, big mom went all out. on the flip side a battered kid & law who explicitly say they were not even use to their awakenings. despite that, they both severely incapacitated her multiple times hence there being like 4+ statements regarding her physical state to be "near death", "half dead" ETC, so even IF they didnt kill her or anything, they beat her tf up before booting her off the island. And to be honest, her hulking stature, Advanced conquerors Defense & her soul pocus was the only reason she wasnt destroyed by damned punk, nobody except kaido & the gorosei (only because of their abilities) are even tanking that thing

They used strategy and lucky because even with all of theirs efforts they wasn't capable to knock her out. She literally said that when Kid used The most powerfull attack of his arsenal (wich would destroy shank's crew) on her, and she just laughed. Oda wrote that too, am I right?!
