Indianapolis Indiana may look different than you think...
Many think Indianapolis or Indiana in general is completely filled with corn fields. Or, maybe a different crop like beans but that isn't necessarily always true. It's fact that Indiana is a heavy farming state and you can find plenty of farms around the Indianapolis metro. But, you may be surprised at what parts of Indiana look like and many parts of Indianapolis. Many people visiting, especially outside of winter, say that Indianapolis is greener than what they imagined. They also say that Indianapolis has more trees than what they previously pictured. I have to say this is probably true for people who don't really know what Indianapolis looks like. In this video we'll explore this misconception many people have.

absolutely love your videos, always gives me a degree of pride of living in the Indy area - I came to the US in 1997 from Germany - I started out in Indy off 86th Street, later moved to Carmel and lived here for about 8 years - due to various jobs I moved on to live in NJ for 2 yrs, PA for 8 yrs, SF Bay Area for 5 years - and once we had kids, we moved back to Indiana, Avon - cost of living is great, we got 4 seasons, traffic always flows, property taxes are low - and the best, we have amazing schools for the kids, decent backyard, and neighbors welcoming with typical Hoosier hospitality - Indiana(polis) is my favorite place - I lived in 4 States, but worked as a consultant all over the US - Indiana(polis) always been my fav and it is home ...

Indy doesn't have terrible traffic like some cities. It does have its moments though. There are plenty of places in and around Indy that would be safe
