Since I went through this part recently for the cadet program, let me give you some insight I hope this helps.
Bank of Baroda, canara are really supportive for pilot loans. You'll need approx 1.25 times the value of the property of the amount required.
The repayment period starts 1 year after completion of course, this is for Bank of Baroda and canara.
Axis and IDFC do provide such loans however they require interest payment from the beginning by the guarantee.
But before you do anything make sure you have Class 1 medical sorted

There is no time limit defined. it depends on the interview panel. Sometimes, when a candidate is interesting, it may go longer.
