Was this animated with toon boom and blender? I'm an animation major but normally use Maya. I'm seeing some 3D models along with the 2D elements. This looks amazing!

Unfortunately I imagine this was in production since long before the trailer for Rebuild the Galaxy dropped, otherwise we'd get a Jar Jar banger using the line "Meesa going to hurt yousa". That being said, with the confines of what was available at the time, this is peak.
