Brought this deck to a local last night and won 3/5 games and for once didn't lose to a single charizard

I wasn't sure about this deck before but having someone explain why each card is in the deck and what the game plan of this deck is in full makes the deck sound so much more appealing to me
Are you playing mesagoza or Pkm HQ because in the video there was a different stadium then in the list.
I play Pokemon League Headquarters. Around the 11-minute mark, my opponent plays Mesagoza.

I run 9 energy in CPao LMAO Watching that guy not scoop was so confusing. This is why I run Artibax though! Iron Hands in CPao saves them from this too.
Tested it on TCG live how it feels and is very fun to play. Thanks for the walkthrough 👍 There is also a variant with Mew EX in it, whats your opinion on that?
Mew has its pros and cons. Can be a nice emergency draw engine and secondary attacker. But it’s also an easy 2-prize Boss target. Really depends on what you’re going for.
why did you "end turn" at 15:34 and not attach the psychic engery with Xatu to retreat Alakazam and item lock again?
Xatu only attaches energy to Pokemon on the bench.
This is my deck I am taking to Indy. Although a very different deck list. I have hand trimmer/eri in it. As well as Salvator for that turn 1 (going second) item lock.
Best of luck at Indy! I bought an Espathra ex card for dirt cheap at my local store and I’m pretty sure I have a Banette floating around somewhere in a binder. It’s a pretty cheap deck to build so I might do it on a whim after I finish my current deck projects.
@@InThirdPerson Thank you, while I didn't make day 2, I did get more points than I did at Peoria. I dropped after 2-1-4. Found my deck lacking in the final push for wins with bo3. With bo1 I would have been sitting at 6-1 since no one knew what to make of my deck in the first game. Didn't go up against a single zard though, which was disappointing.
This is the one deck I can actually make decent progress with. It has a pretty good matchup with Charizard but I feel like some other notable ones are Turbo Iron Hands and Chien Pao. Lost Zone and Lugia seem to be the worst matchups with this.
It certainly has an interesting matchup spread!

Does Mist Energy block Bannete Ex's effect of not being able to play items?
Pretty sure Mist Energy does not prevent Banette ex’s item lock, as Mist Energy prevents effects to the Pokemon it’s attached to and not protect to the player’s hand.
Mist energy prevents effects that affect Pokémons not prevent effects on "player"

Most people who buy Pokemon cards do so for the primary purpose of collecting and that’s cool! Though at some point, I hope you and others give the game a chance because it’s awesome and it’s given me a whole new appreciation for the cards based on what they can do in the game.

When paldean fates came out i built this deck and got told it was bad. Safe to say i proved people wrong
Funnily enough I've had no problem with this deck. I have somehow never managed to beat a Meowscarada deck though.
