As far as I know (and it actually worked with my first attempt to find her) she's spawning around Blades Peak area. I haven't heard of any other locations and don't really know if there are more places she's spawning tbh. The good thing is her yellow classic dog scent spores are signed as "Carmella". I was just running around Blades Peak until I found her scent spores.

That actually happened to me multiple times! I actually stumbled on her because my wolves territory was centered around blades peak and I found her more than once :D It wasn't even the last achievement either, it was before I had even claimed a bunch of Wolfquest achievements :)
I was on a journey to a new den when I stopped in my tracks and saw a dog. I assumed it was a normal dog so in a panic I backtracked and sent my pups to grass before running to the dog to deal with it. Let’s just say I was very shocked and pleasantly surprised when I found Carmella (I didn’t even know there was another achievement in lost river, I didn’t scroll down lmao).
Yea, i did try to get this achievement before, but I gave up bc i couldn't find her, but i was playing normally hunting food for my pups when i got the achievement by accident, i was surprised, so yea, it's just based on luck to get the achievement

Ive just lost my favourite wolf, Skull he was named for the skulls and antlers update and ended up being my top favourite wolf and he had the "twin" coat with a very beat up appearance (i usually give wolves injuries throughout there life) one -day- night at the cattle ranch, he was shot *3* times and somehow survived leaving a bullet in his left eye (used corneal ebdema) and a snaggle tooth on his left as well as a crooked tail (was later ripped off by a dog) At age 7, he was trying to scare a bear from a carcass and Silver, who was his mate for 6 years, was killed by it
What about sleeping as a tip? (by the way, i was the one that said ,how about sleeping, in the livestream and when everyone called me a good mouse cause my other user is named mouse lol

I think that the hardest achievement is collecting all of the skulls. By the way please make a video where you explain common spawns for all of the skulls and or where you found them. For 4 actual real life months ive been trying to complete the achievement and cannot ever find the cougar and bear skulls. PLEASE HELP

I found it on a multiplayer server and assumed it was a random dog so I ran away scared😭😭😭nooooo
It is singleplayer only

Basically i think of carmella as a elk herd or any other npc bc every npc spawns randomly anywhere and everywhere
spent 14 hours(not straight) looking for this dog just for my friend to find it in under 25 minutes

How do you get the solo parent achievement?
You have to kill your mate once your pups are born then raise the pups without a mate .
Or kill it when your female Wolf is pregnant
