Been a big Martin fan when Jim Watson joined your team. You guys are my heroes as I'm fighting with colon cancer since 2013. I'm doing the southeast tour for the adrenaline rush traveling from track to track.

Man this is so sad to watch especially now after learning of her passing. Love MTJ and Sherry and RIP to a great human being. They have done amazing things in their lives and im wishing Martin nothing but happiness and bliss in his retirement. Hopefully he can find peace and joy after racing.

Truex is likely the reason I am a fan today. My first televised race from start to finish was the Coca-Cola 600 in 2019...which had a miserable 16 caution flags and felt like a bit of a crapshoot.
I knew of Harvick, Johnson, Dillon, and one or two others, but no one had really won me over yet. Less than two weeks later I come across a video detailing Truex's rise from the ashes into becoming a champion, a fairy tale come to life and it just so happened he was the one who won the first race I watched. Beyond that though, seeing him pull a struggling team up, fighting alongside Sherry, and eventually securing a championship for this humble guy who sold furniture while he was recovering from a heart attack...that was it, I was ready to follow this sport week after week
Keep on digging Truex...I look forward to more magic

Im not gonna lie,I broke dwn a lil to on this wonderful piece. Ive never seen Martin really cry except after his Championship in 2017. I was hoping so much he won. He won the first two stages,got mixed up in the Daytona carnage. Would of been awesome to see. Just keep fighting Sherry!!! Im so pumped I get to see MTJ at Kansas and Talledega this year in 2022. I can't wait. I hope I get to meet him. Hopefully Sherry to. Go #19 MTJ!!!

My grandmother died when I was in 5th grade of ovarian cancer. I buy their diecasts and anything with Sherry Strong/NASCAR on it. I'm a Hendrick guy, born and raised but love everything Martin and Sherry are about.

Forgot to say the only reason I picked Martin Truex was because I found Sherry First.
She was a remarkable young lady. Truex foundation has done a lot for cancer victims , l just never liked him as a person or a driver.
Oh was he motivated ???? Too bad he wasn’t motivated to man up and marry her. He didn’t deserve her. I wish she’d moved on, to someone who’d truly love her.
