How to Use a Parabolic Microphone

A basic instructional video of how to use a parabolic microphone. How to find a subject, get better subject isolation, reduce noise sources, and basic recorder settings. The video is specifically for using Wildtronics Parabolic Microphones.
Please note: 2 microphones were used in producing this video. A parabolic microphone and a lavalier microphone (for dialog pickup). Both microphones were connected to the camera via wireless transmitters into one mono track. This is a demo of using a parabolic microphone not direct samples from the parabolic microphone. The dialog mic picks up surrounding sounds which should not be confused as coming from the parabolic microphone.
