I love this card so much. A friend/card maker-seller once told me she thought the simplest cards were the hardest to make because there was no place to hide. Agree!

I once told my husband that my card making style was CAS and he, so innocently said, "oh you mean cuss and swear?" As @bethjeans3780 astutely notes, there is no where to hide with a clean and simple design. While I don't actually cuss or swear too often, I am known to remake a card or, ahem, three. Lovely card and good for you, persisting with the world's tiniest sentiment 😉

I love everything about this video. Like others said, I think that you show the "real" part of card making and the train of thought involved. Mostly, I absolutely love everything about this card...they layout, the embossing the sentiment, and those colors are just beautiful. Thank you for doing what you do.

A very sweet and clean card. You know I love your videos and wonderful you ~ but I tell ya . . . since recently receiving my ink pads, brushes, and a slow start of stencils . . . these videos have been SO much more fun to watch and finally be able to apply the techniques. This is what it must have felt like to my brothers (50+ years ago) when they received and traded baseball cards, but even better! hahahaha Thanks Cathy! 'Preciate you!! :)

Hi Cathy, maybe you like this also. I first make a mask by die cutting the leaf. Then I stamp my image in the Misti on a piece of scrap paper. Then you place the mask of the cut out die over the stamped image. And then you place the cut out leaf in the mask and you have a perfect position 🤩. I also do it this way if I do mass production. First I cut out the amount of leaves I want and then you can lay them in the mask and have perfect prints all the time. Love that 🥰. Also wonderful card and I love your videos.

Love this set so much! I was gonna buy it during the bday sale but it was sold out. Can't say I was surprised lol. Also, I funnel my embossing powder the same as you. I agree, it's a lot easier with the sticking. If it gets too bad I just toss it and grab a new one

? New here and loving your hints and tips. Wondering why do you use the sticky mat in your Misty instead of the magnets?
Well, they both work great but… I tried the sticky mat when they first came out (they were sent to me to use!) and I love it! So i haven't gone back to magnets. : )
I hated the way the magnets were always in the way of my stamping. I also think the sticky mat holds the card more securely than the magnets and as a result I never have to start my stamping over. I also went on and bought one of the thin flat sticky mats, like Brutus Monroe or SSS, to use when stamping a red rubber stamp because the thicker ones from Waffle Flower or Altenew worked so well for me. Highly recommend as worth the money since they are pricey. Do remember that they WILL stain since they are photopolymer. It doesn’t come off on my card but it is visible on the mat. Good luck!

That is one that is now discontinued, unfortunately! But you can use one of the larger ones, like this one: collabs.shop/fjvysw
That is the 6.5 x 8.5 mat, which will also work.
I think they are trying to find a new source for all their mats right now.

Oh, I do! But I am waiting to show it when they are back in stock. I hate to show something folks can't get. Also, sometimes I just use my electronic machine because it's permanently on my desk! Gina's machine is great!
