hi thalia i hope your loving your new house i hope all is going well with you and your friends hope your having an awesome start to 2019 hope all is good with your pediatric placemet too :)
Lots of jobs especially ones working directly with people e.g. healthcare, hospitality can be stressful and emotionally draining. That's why selfcare as health professionals is so important for us (hence my selfcare video). Also when you start a new job especially your first job there can be a learning curve, you put in long hours and sometimes feel like you don't know what you are doing but you work hard and feel stressed for a while because your work matters to you and you want to do a good job. Long term? no you shouldn't be feeling stressed coming to work everyday if so something isn't quite right. If you enjoy working with others and supporting them to achieve their unique potential and live a life that's meaningful to them. Then you are on the right path. Uni can be tough and at times discouraging but you need to look beyond the exams and heavy anatomy content to why you are learning this content and how it will allow you to teach/coach/support/empower etc clients and their families.

I have never in my life seen someone make cereal with Milo........... But I am DEFINITELY trying it
Hahaha I just woke up and thought it would be a good combination and it was! I've had it everyday since 😂
I am currently an undergrad in OT
So you have you masters or Doctorate?
Bachelor of OT 😊
Is there a lot of maths involved while studying OT
No haha only a little if you study statistics/research analysis courses or some basic ratio in floor plans.
Ahhh you make me want to skip uni and start life😭
We felt the same when we were studying too! Your time will come 😊 enjoy/appreciate any sleep ins and living at home (if you area).
Is it really hard and stressful working as an OT? I’m scared I’m heading down the wrong path😬
