You have such a lovely and positive personality and it comes through no matter what you do! I wish I had this planner, but I rally appreciate you showing that you can buy a Target planner and make it every bit as cute and functional as a more expensive planner. Many people (including myself) cannot afford some of the more expensive planner systems and this is a great alternative. I just wish Target would stock more of these and also release them at a specific time so we wouldn't have to try to hunt them down. Loved the use of the Velcro dots from DT and also how you used the card to tear your washi, brilliant!
Just got back from target. I bought the $3 planner binder (pink w/gold pineapples) plus purchased all the fillers. I came home and spread everything out and played this video and I am in LOVE with it!!! I'm having so much fun!!! Thank you!!! Off to the dollar store now...

i have a black version . i love mines so much i am a preschool assistant and a full time student and i love my planner!!!! i am going to go to target and get some of the note pages and make a homework inlay every week:) thank you for showing a cheaper beautiful option for students like me !!!!!!
I'm definitely getting this planner. I love how you just jump in and do your magic. I look at mine for hours and never really feel confident about what I'm doing. That must be some kind of mental thing I have. I saw those stickers at dollar tree and could kick myself for not getting them. You inspired me. I love yours, so cute.

not sure if someone already stated this. But if you want to re-enforce the holes you can washi over them and use a hole puncher to re punch and it should help strengthen them. I know a lot of ladies who do that on their ring binder planners! :) love your little diy planners/pages. it just proves their is no "right" or "wrong" way to plan. it seems like so many planners want the same looks so yours are refreshing to look at. You do your own thing and I LOVE that!

these are the page inserts I have. they are very thin. I just back mine with some cardstock. I love the mini sacks. glad someone posted where they are from. I got a plain white binder that you can insert the cover to change it.

Thank you sooooo much for doing this. It's almost next to impossible to find a "Plan with me" type of video for the Target dollar spot planner system. Most people (that made vids) didn't put too much thought into it, primarily because they thought they wouldn't use it, so most of them are after thoughts. I appreciate that you did this as I do use one of these planners for finances/payments and such. Awesome job ☺☺☺
I loved this video! I use the binder from Target as my planner. The pages are flimsy but I reinforce them by gluing scrapbook paper to them and tie the print into my design for that week. You can make the tassel longer by adding some jump rings to the chain. Also I reinforce the pockets by laminating them this way they can reused.

Just a suggestion for the keychains and your Happy Planner. I make lengths of chain with lobster clasps on them and loop it through my discs. The system works great for binder rings and coils too. It's actually how I sell all my tassels.
I love the idea of a recipe planner , I think I will make a trip to our poundland and see what they have that I could use to make one, I would love to do a Christmas recipe planner think that would be fun, thanks for the inspiration you share x
I have the target planner as well! I do online school an use it to plain out all my work! I am definitely going to put in cute envelopes in the front and back of it! Also I love that u used a card to cut your washi tape! That's an awesome life hack!

OMG I actually have the new binder for that new style! BUT they didn't have the Mon-Sun planner inserts. I originally bought it to coupon with and take notes. Now I Cant wait to decorate it!!

I actually went to Target today and I was able to find the calendar dividers and notes with pockets. They had the same binders with the pink flower on top from a few months ago. But I saw tucked away on another shelf a pink binder with white polka dots! I have the Happy Planner and that stays on my desk. This one is small enough for my purse (I have a fairly big purse). So thanks for this video and letting us know what to look for. They also had a lot of cute page flags, note pads and other fun stuff. Thanks again!
