Yo shout out to Cuber. Flats is right, his editor's videos are tight af. In fact, I'd argue that if the editing didn't keep me entertained idk if I'd watch Flats as often as I do. I think the cutaways and meme references are hilarious and not overused. Plus I always dig hearing jams from Super Mario RPG: LotSS and Runescape.

I think he's mentioned it before. If I'm remembering correctly it went something like this.
They kept seeing each other in ranked games. Either on the same team or playing against each other. Then one day one of them asked to group up & thus the legendary duo was born.

Honestly, I subbed to Flats, Emongg, and Fitzy because of the stream highlight videos. Cuber manages to make stream highlight content that is the most enjoyable I've ever seen.
I got so excited when I got the notification for this video! I love Flats when he's loud and ragey and all that; but there is just something about chill, "wise-dad-at-the-bonfire" Flats that just hits different.
That feesh story around 15:00 happened to me EXACTLY and it’s terrifying, same tank and everything. I was so sad the one that was attacked was all torn up and only lived for another couple days.
I switched from console to pc a little over a year ago. Overwatch was so overwhelming at first. So I played an rpg to get used to the controls. Rpgs get you real comfortable with movement and interacting with the world around you with certain key binds. Skyrim, borderlands, red dead even if you played them on console, 20 hours in you'll be a new player ❤️
Red Dead is wonderful, I beat it many times on console, then had to get it on pc. Suckers 150 gigs tho
Im hoping over time with OW2 you will see a continuous growth but you are genuinely great to watch and insanely engaging with your chat! I feel like your growth is a little stuck behind ow but st the same time that is your big thing. It’s almost a double edge sword. But keep up the work my man it always pays off!
I'm a very new viewer and new to OW and I gotta say I like Flats content because you can tell he really cares about what he does, from ranting to goofy stuff. I never knew Ow were this passionate lol
In my honest opinion as weird as it is I think Overwatch has created and has some of the best streaming talent in the business

Flats is right about new content being the best way to appeal to new players. I maintain that TF2's death was not inevitible, if only Valve had continue to support its active development. That game *still* has dedicated players, and could've popped off even further if it got regular content updates.
Valve abandoned it's major franchises for no reason. They had a lot of really big hits (L4D, Half Life, Portal) and then they just let them rot. They would be one of the biggest gaming companies if they just continued to support those franchises.

TF2 isn't dead, it's just gets no content. It has a lot of active players. It maintains top 5 played on Steam consistently.

Honestly the story about the blood pressure thing was interesting to hear about. I really like learning about biology and all that stuff, and like you mentioned in the story, no one had heard of it, and I certainly haven’t lmao. But yeah it was interesting to listen to
Mouse and keyboard hybrid answer. If you're struggling to use keyboard then you can use mouse right hand for aim and controller left hand for movement. Use a mouse with lots of side buttons. Also it's easier on your left wrist especially if you have a family history of carpal tunnel.

lol I love the blood pressure story. The question about can anyone get good vs naturally good at the game. I used to play a lot of support on overwatch and almost made it from plat to GM, I quit various times and thought maybe I'm just bad at the game and this was back when I used to practice a LOT. I would always drop back to plat and so I quit. Hearing you say that kind of makes me want to come back...but I also don't want to deal with the headache of players dissing me for being bad at support.
When it comes with the stream recaps, at a glance of your videos its hard to even tell they are there, i would suggest giving them a prefix category title like "daily stream recap". i sometimes dont have time to directly see all content ive missed on some of the people i watch, but fitzy particularly labels his weekly so i get some nice stuff of his in a condenced version and get to the other actual more filled out content when i get time. the watching bronze vids particularly are easy to point out.
You gotta let people know which videos are the stream highlights because I know a lot of people (me included) prefer them to the full games. But for you I can’t tell at a glance what your highlights are. For Fitzy they’re called “Fitzy Weekly” and it’s the first thing I see when I get the notification: “FITZY WEEKLY” So some snappy quick identifier like “Flat’s Lootbox” or “Flats’ Slam Jam” would make it easier. Because I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know you had a weekly stream highlights video and I’m subbed to Flats 1&2 lol

I absolutely love your content and cuber's edits are amazing. I wish I knew how to do that. Your videos do help me become a little better even if they aren't in the spectating bronze series just watching you play does help a lot with positioning and mechanics. I love the spectating bronze series but if you need a break for it, I understand. It is a fun series to watch but if you don't enjoy doing it sometimes because you do it so much need a break because your burnt out, then its only fun for the views to watch and not fun for you to do, keep up the good work

Yo I played Rugby for 8 years, I started as flank, then played 8-man and a little flyhalf. Wonder what flats played, my guess is hook or prop. Also scrum caps are usually so you don't get cauliflower ears, locks usually wear them

I started uploading videos on CoD Zombies around 2 and half months ago after seeing a friend of mine gain 1k subs and like 5 million total views in a month. So I decided to give it a shot and found similar success. But after a certain amount of daily uploads my viewership and reach plummeted. And now I put so much effort into videos which in my videos may not seem like a lot but to me it is because I never have done any sort of editing before and I need to have a lot of games to record. So this hits right at me.

I think it's your over the top reactions that make spectating bronzes so interesting. So don't overload yourself with needing to put one out because that ruins the fun. I personally binge them over again when I'm bored.
Flats let's be honest everyone who played the beta is waiting after seeing how good 5v5 is and the changes they made at the time to heroes. I actually find OW1 a struggle to play XD
The ladder stabilizing itself has nothing to do with that question.. the avg player moved from gold to platinum in ow1. The stats prove that lol a high influx of players could shift the AVG player to gold again.

When he talks about 1 mean comment breaking you is true, i make music (not good music) and one of my videos got more views then usual. It got like 2.3k which i was super happy over and it had over 100 likes but it had 2 dislikes and them dislikes kinda destoryed me. Not in an ego way like "how dare these people not like this" it was more like "am i doing something wrong?". Im still not really out of that mindset rip lol
