Amazing Ninots Exhibition in Valencia! Ninots are the small copies of the "Fallas" sculptures that will be later constructed in the streets of Valencia as part of Las Fallas festival.
It is known for its elaborate and artistic constructions called "fallas". These large sculptures can be up to 15 feet tall. They often show politicians, celebrities, and current events in a comical way.
They will be displayed in the streets of Valencia for several days leading up to the main event called "Crema," which occurs on the night of March 19th.
During this ceremony, all the fallas, except for one chosen as the winner, are set on fire, creating a spectacular display of flames and smoke.
The burning of the fallas symbolizes the purification of society, the end of winter, and the arrival of spring.
Great way to see small copies of these amazing sculptures all in one place, is to visit Valencia Science Museum in early March. They call them "Ninots".
Visitors can vote for their favourite ninot and the most popular will be saved from the flames.
