@@trevor4835 It can be programmed from the Synthesizer itself, BUT it is not a very traditional way and it is not very easy / comfortable, I used a free software editor that allows you to edit everything in real time, I also used a few patches downloaded from the internet that I liked a lot, there are too many options to choose a Synthesizer, the best is to look for the one you like the most in terms of sound, the TG33 is very easy to program from itself and so so fun!

I love this unit will be perfect with my tg33 and esq1 😊 do you actually sale synth patches lo-fi style or sale tracks only ? will buy some soon they are amazing. I have this big esq1 card with tons of presets but only a few (to my taste) are really interesting to use and/or modify...esq1 is a very capable synth in terms of synthesis, so does the tg and tx but I far to your level in synthesis now ... I work on it 4 sure but wonder if you can help me gettin some nice fresh stuff ! Peace bro. Or you perhaps know some cool places to find patches ... seems that 4op is "better" than 6 for percussion, I don't know why... but I feel the same, it also happened to me with an FB-01, very interesting for percussion too
@@NachoMartyMeyer Mine developed transformer noise, which is a common problem affecting many of these. The transformer causes the upper plate to vibrate causing an annoying noise. I don't really know how to safely isolate a transformer so it's been on the repair waiting list for some time. I do miss it :(

i'm so glad to know that :D it's a beautiful FM synthesizer, capable of doing a lot of things (weird or classic), I recommend using a dedicated software or hardware editor as programming it from its own panel can be confusing and tedious with some parameters, luckily there are also thousands and thousands of amazing patches on the internet
@@NachoMartyMeyer found a hardware editor three times as expensive as the TX81Z😂 Looks like I'll go the software route and hunt down some tasty patches!! Thanks again, this unit was exactly what I was looking for!
perfect, yes, you're going to have a lot of fun, I used "Ctrlr" it works great and it's free, the TX81Z is wonderful, don't be fooled by the Presets at first, start editing and you'll see the depth it has 🙌

Nunca probé ninguno de ellos, pero si los escuché y leí sobre ellos, para mí están muy interesantes, ambos se pueden editar, te darán sonidos bien 80's y 90's si es que eso te gusta, y como se pueden programar pueden ir muy lejos también, creo que el precio es espectacular por ambos, hace tiempo sigo al D-110, me encantan las waveforms que trae y su audio! ambos son romplers con varias muestras acústicas pero también sintéticas y al poder programarlos se pueden lograr sonidos muy interesantes sin dudas, lo mejor es que escuches todas las demos que puedas y leas sobre ellos para saber si son de tu agrado, para mí son dos módulos hermosos :)
This is Mono only, directly from the unit itself with the help of an external sequencer? No, in the second last track there was some stereo movement. That could have come from the inherent cool possibilities of the unit itself. In many ways this was more flexible than the follow up, like the SY77, which had strict conform to a midi channel, if set to multimode. A first MF, like the D110 was as well.
hi, this time I recorded in layers, the stereo sensation is because I recorded the same patch twice but one slightly out of tune and panned, although it would also be possible to have two almost identical patches at the same time in 'Performance' mode and create a chorus effect in theory

What's the first patch at the start of the video called?
It's not a preset, it was made with a software editor, and I haven't saved any of the patches
