I love your sneaking little kitty in the background! He/she opened that door----AMAZING! Dang smart cat you got there! Oh and the chalkboard is cool too!
Love your chalkboard wall. I made one this last year for our classroom. I used a big piece of metal and then put chalkboard paint and framed it. I did the metal so it can be a magnet board too! :-) I'm seriously thinking about putting chalkboard paint on my door going to the garage cause it's near my kitchen and dining area.
Thank you! Have you sent me your address yet!? mrskishajaggers. I probably forgot to send you the email but if you haven't received one yet.. send me your info! And I bet your chalkboard wall will look great! Be sure to take some pictures so I can see!
.i'm so glad I saw this. I may have to find a new paint roller. My paint looks a little blotchy. I was so excited when I did it the 1st time I didn't condition the wall. Now I know. I'm going to redo it.
Question? Was your wall smooth prior to putting chalkboard paint on? I'd like to do this in my kids room but worried cause I've used this stuff before on a wood table and I primed it not well...but the chalk paint just soaked into the wood. And I wasnt sure if you'd have to have a completely smooth surface to apply this directly to a wall. My kids room wall has slight texture...nothing huge..just curious thanks
Kisha, love your chalkboard! Just wondering, how is the chalk dust issue or is there none? I have always wanted a chalkboard but was always afraid of the mess. Your hubby did a good job at framing it...it looks very professionally done. Take care!

Very informative video! Thanks for sharing. Btw, the correct spelling of the word is "grateful". Grateful for your tips.

Is it waterproof? To erase it with wet sponge

Its not too bad with the dust. It does fall to the baseboard some so after I get done with the large part of it, I vacuum it which picks it all up!
Did you use one can for this entire wall? I don't recall if you said one or two.
What kind of a cat is Gabby? She's so cute.
You left the texture?
Do you use water to wash off the chalk?
You dont have too you could just take a cloth and wipe it but if you wants to clean off the chalk like fully then use a wet cloth hope this helped :)
Roa Mer Thank you
I use a wet cloth if you want to clean it completely but if you do then you need to go over it with a dry cloth also
the cat
does it allow cipage
Do you really wait three days? I just did this so im curios cause other videos just wrote on the board as soon as it was dry.
I know I painted my chalkboard and the next day I wrote on it
This one is great too and very easy to use! - just cut and stick! Can be re-positioned: www.amazon.com/dp/B00WJQ08SC
