i have a challenge for you that i did on Borderlands 1. Crimson Raider: you use Roland and after setting his colors to red, the only guns (after your literal starting weapons) can only be the guns that have the crimson paint job. If you dont know which one that is, its the one one thats like a metalic red/black pearlesant paint job.

Challenge run idea for any Borderlands game: how far can you go without quitting i.e. 1 session, no real farming for gear or xp because you can't farm them without save quitting/ read farming.

The fact you did a vendor only run on uvhm but didnt abuse the best money making strat in the game that can be done with absolutely no items is wild to me, flamerock refuge slot machines require no weapons to use and its not uncommon for them to drop wayyy too much money and all you need is some eridium which can be farmed from bullymong piles or skull piles or garbage piles or basically any other lootable objects in the game
You *have* to beat BL2 with capitalism. The only other economic system that ever existed is socialism, which is when the government does stuff, but since there's no government in BL2....

Id say the normal playstyle is scavenger/murderer/assassin either way were all broke with no decent items to buy anyway as ammo is expensive enough to sell your soul a few times also the soul and possessions of everyone youve met
