Wow.....5 bucks for the ratchet and sockets. Super deal. I don't remember but were those loss leaders when Sears was selling them? Ten bucks or so?

@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals thanks, I was happy to find them at that price. I’m not sure what you are asking when you say loss leaders, can you clarify?

Hej there @@Jethro2022 They would put out stuff cheap to get you into the store. I think those sets may have been some of them...I don't remember well.
I took Craftsman tools for granted.
I'm pretty sure they had dollar screwdrivers for a while.
First ratchet I bought at an auction was a 1/2" Craftsman. I bought it from a guy who won a bid for a bucket of tools.
I still have it....(Just don't know which one it is...cause I have two now).
What I learned then was you can buy stuff from the people who win the bids at auctions. I got a trailer that way.
The auction was an hour away...the guy got buyer's remorse and sold me the trailer the next day. The funny part was he lived nearby...saved me the hassle of moving it.
tHanks again for the video....When do you head out next?

That was a good tool haul. I love going to the pawn shops when I get a chance to you definitely can get some good stuff some times. The 3/8 craftsmen China set you picked up be careful with the ratchet in that set. I have that set and I bought it for light duty job I have to do at work once a day with it and the ratchet could not handle it. But the shallow sockets had done just fine for me. Sorry for the other short comment I hit the wrong button.

Yes sir, I have had a few come apart with me before. It wasn't fun going into sears every week to get a rebuild kit but I did enjoy browsing the tools lol

Just don't hit the red eject button......Why they put that button next to the "Turbo" button I'll never know.
