I'm straight, though I was brought up to be inclusive and have attended many gay pubs and clubs, and have had many friends and acquaintances of all type of people. I didn't need school for that.

My kids had a 'sick days' during a 2 day workshop on 'sexuality education', The kids are 10 and 12. I examined the content beforehand and about 5-10% was dedicated to biological changes that will happen in the body as puberty kicks in. The rest was dedicated to gender identity, gender ideology, the notion that kids may even be born into the 'wrong' body. We are a very open family, and discuss pretty much everything within reason that you can according to age. My kids go to school to be educated not to be indoctrinated with gender ideology. On the way into work this week, they company is flying the latest pride flag, one that clearly supports promoting the gender ideological indoctrination of young kids in school. I dare not mention, as I genuinely could be reprimanded. However, would that school or my employer support me bringing another type of ideology into school or work such as recite text from a holy book such as The Bible, I would lose my job and my kids would be castigated. It is mandatory, and if you disagree with it, even in part, you are deemed a bigot and a some kind of a far right nutbar. It's a bit like communism to be honest.
Oh please we all had sex ed (well maybe not you clearly) but we all turned out fine. I mean yeah you can let your kids go out into the world as adults have no idea how to interact with others and lead them to be confused about everything, guess that is on you.

Teaching children that some people might be born into the wrong body is an affront to education.

As a gay Gen Z, I've never experienced prejudice about being gay growing up, and that was a time before all this Pride nonsense was being shoved down everyone's throat. Even back when I was ten years old I still remember that the acronym was only LGB, and every year since then they've seemed to add a new letter so now LGBT+ contains any and every possible identity under the sun, even straight people who just call themselves "Allies." We don't need "Allies" to push this nonsense for us on our behalf. Gay people have been granted the same rights as everyone else in society. Leave it at that. Stop trying to shove this down everyone's throat, and especially on children.

I often read about the intolerance of the past but as a 'boomer', I can tell you that growing up, with the exceptions of extremists like the Skinheads, the attitude to gays was 'as long as they are discreet and leave kids alone, it's their business' and many of showbiz's most popular entertainers were camp gay men e.g. Larry Grayson. When I was working (small place, staff of about 30 at first), I worked with a lesbian who was in a long term relationship and who brought her partner to work social events where she was treated the same as any of the heterosexuals' partners - even by our very religious staff member who'd asked one girl if she realised she'd sacrificed her place in heaven by wearing a mini skirt! I think the key was discretion. In all the time I worked with her, over 20 years, the lesbian staff member never went on about gay 'rights' or was physical with her partner in company (nor were the heterosexual couples). Oh to be back in those days.

The interesting thing is that the only friends of mine on social media promoting pride are all straight. Any gay friends of mine haven't made any mention of pride.

I never had a gender issue I was a boy and girls were girls and we played together our girl pals were called tomboys because they'd do what the boys did. As an older Irish gay man and Irish Catholic Patriot living 21 years in Manchester, U.K., I’m totally opposed to LGBT “pride” and indeed, in my teens in the 1980’s on the Dublin gay scene, older gay men at that time, not only correctly predicted our current situation but were also totally opposed to being gay made legal - contrast that to Canada, where they are forcing children to celebrate pride by force of law in BC making it illegal to not celebrate it - in its current form, pride does not speak for me nor represent me and stealing children’s innocence in this way is beyond evil, as they are doing in Irish schools backed by Ireland’s “hate speech” laws where the radical LGBT propaganda is being relentlessly pushed - this is the very reason why Gays Against Groomers was founded

I went to Copenhagen Pride in 2017. Just before the parade started, you would see kids as young as 5-6 with their parents, they were within the vicinity of those wearing bondage gear, 1 woman I saw was wearing and I’m sure there were others, wearing a rather sizeable strap-on. It does happen and you do see this.

A few days ago we celebrated family day at my children's school. It was a short show about mom and dad and lots of fun. Just a normal life.
