Btw the wiring it all just a test. I got bored of waiting for the circuit boards I put together for this project so plonked in an old midi to solenoid controller I built a few years back for the next vid :) hence the ratnest wago’s 😂 also this video isn’t denoting that it isn’t going to be a difficult challenge! I can imagine it gets harder and harder the more complex it gets. Tuning and voicing. Videos just A Bit of fun 😂

I can't imagine why anyone would discourage someone who at least tries to save an old musical instrument. When the church I attend was refurbished the superb organ ended up in a skip, not even stripped for parts. I was close to tears. When I saw how this instrument had been rescued before (and what an amazing story that would have been, and to hear it played in that house!) and now that Sam is rescuing it again is just wonderfully inspiring. It may be utterly crazily optimistic but more power to your elbow! Keep the crazy flag flying!

Those criticising should remember that an organ like this isn't really an instrument anyway, is a collection of separate instruments, parts and systems brought together and played from one place. Sure, it won't be a church organ anymore, but it will live on and give joy to people, albeit in a different way. If not for you, it would have all ended up in recycling and landfill. I am very impressed with how quickly you have these parts producing music again. Well done!

What, you already got it working? I didn't doubt that you could get it up and running, but this quick??? That's insane! I love it!

On refelction: I think this is my favourite video you've ever done....
No muppet knows what they're doing, till they put in hard work, talent, commitment, ignore haters, grind it through, etc etc. And that is ALL about why I love your channel, approach, personality, ethos: whatever it is.
    Noice one mate..... x

haha, mate, you need to paint them organ pipes neon green and neon pink, that would really wind up the purists! If anything, you're bringing new 2022 vibes to the organ! good on you pal!

For some reason I can't stop watching this. You nailed the grumpy old man rant so well.
Not that I disagree with what he says, I have no doubt that's going to be a major pain in the ass to get fully working again. - But then again, I honestly expected the mechanism to be something way more complicated than a simple solenoid operated plug per pipe.

Lmao! This is what happens when you mix long ongoing projects, insanity, and lack of sleep.

Season it with a generous amount of labels, stir gently and let it settle over night. Coat it with a thin layer of genious and a sprinkle of idgaf. Serve it cold for a 5star experience

Oh the people that told you stuff like that clearly didn't know the character! 😂 I've been extremely excited about this since I know that you're exactly the right person to take on that sort of project

One step closer to Jerusalem, All things bright and beautiful. A tip top service. Maybe little donkey and a whole bunch of other Christmas songs? Perhaps even the darkness, rage against the machine or maybe the prouges Not a bad start! Total bonkers idea! Can’t wait to see what you do with a complete organ.

The people who told you that it was a stupid idea and you'd never be able to figure out how to put it back together are the same people who clearly didn't spend their entire childhood pulling shit apart and putting it back together just because they enjoy figuring out what makes something tick. They look at a project like this and it scares them. But I get you mate... you look at a project like this and it fucking excites you.
    Sending my love from Downunder!

My mom was a church organist for at least 30 years. Both me and my dad have done various small repairs on 2 different pipe organs. I knew you had this project. This is totally your wheelhouse.
