I am approaching 3500 hours playing this game. I think my current playthrough [streamed on Twitch and uploaded here] will be my last for a while. I still have a few achievements to find, still 3 of the Phantom Liberty endings to experience...so I'll be back. Words can hardly express how much this game means to me...but nothing is so good that you can't take a rest from it, once in a while. My only worry is that I'll never find another game I care about as much.
If you are like me you probably enjoyed it so much because of how immersed you got into your character and the game world. If so, another game that got hooked just as much, if not more was kingdom come: deliverance. It's a completely different setting ofc, but incredibly immersive.
I've just gotten into the cyberpunk obsession and I think it's the closest thing to addiction I've ever experienced.....like i damn near can't stop playing it daily...what a game
Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate 3 are legit the only games that make me wanna finish in one sitting. It's refreshing to have this kind of feeling again. I haven't felt like this since I played Skyrim over and over again.
Finished my biker nomad build with electric gorilla arms, apogee sandevistan, marlorian arms (for the style over substance), bolt tech rifle with the kiroshi optics that lets you see through walls and my knife with big crit damage for those sneaky headshots when im not going full assult :D. Depending on their approach to Cyberpunk 2, I was thinking I would rather they release “mini-dlc” to bring every district, their corresponding gigs/missions, and add or rework various mechanics and bring everything up to the level of polish of Phantom Liberty. Add more interactions with friends and lovers throughout the story. Not just their missions. That’s something I would pay 8-15 bucks for. I would come back and play again and again. Everytime they released something new. Right now, I just want more of THIS cyberpunk. As a Berserk enjoyer, this game’s message hit me so deep and the contrast between the crazy fucking action sequences and the contemplative, somber scenes when things are all said and done is MASTERFUL.
