Yeah but randomness and dynamics is the point of the game and that's what makes the game fun to watch and more entertaining, if riot made a cs clone then who would watch val just watch cs instead, riot cares about the viewership and sponsors more than the players and coaches, and that is what's gonna keep the esport alive for a decade atleast
The point hes trying to make is that the games broken. Players and coaches are essentially grinding away their lives just for their fate to be in the hands of luck rather than their own hard work and skill. At this point valorant is more luck based than poker which is just stupid as an e sport. It is so luck based that it almost doesnt seem competitive anymore.
if more pros start doing what tenz is and they retire because of how stupid valorant is there eventually wont even be enough skilled pros to play it in the first place.
@@Geimoonsoon i think there will always be people playing and it's just a matter of adaptation, if you can't adapt you can leave. I agree the game is full of randomness but again that is the thing riot is working towards, if you think where the game is gonna go in 5 years what comes to mind is a fuckton of agents and potentially agent bans in comp and even more maps and map rotations, which would make pros lives even harder but it is what it is.
@@Geimoonsoon what riot is trying to do might be harsh for the pros and coaches but it certainly will keep the esport alive, remember league of legends is a great example of that, people wonder why that game isn't dead yet even though it's a horrid experience playing it even for the average player let alone pros.
@@lakshya44 Do you feel like any team has actually managed to 'adapt' to the game successfully in any way though? Its already been out for almost half a decade but referring to what tenz said there is a different 'world champion' every third season with the exception of 2023 fnc but even they somehow fell off hard this year and they didnt even win champs that season. I dont watch or play league of legends but from my understanding faker has been regarded as the best player for over 10 years now which at least proves in some way that the game can be 'mastered'. No pro or team has proven that for valorant because the game just doesnt make sense.
his statement towards anything has always been more dynamic compared to valorant
