Subjective feelings are good evidence for the individual UNLESS they don't stand in line with human intellect and *objective* (not subjective) truth. Islam is objectively the truth. People think that God is here and He knows the future. But this is NOT POSSIBLE. Why? When in the past God knew the WHOLE future He simply COMMANDED his power "let all this be (but without me)". That's all. By doing so there was no later obligation for God to PERSONALLY take the God's actions SET OUT in that determined future. God's work was OVER, He was immediately FREE from any duty. This means that God is not here now and the God's words are automatically spoken by his power alone. No one can change Allah's words:

So basically, there weren't any intellectual reasons or proof based reasoning as to why this individual chose Christianity over Islam. This is usually the case when somebody chose Christianity. Subjective feelings are good evidence for the individual UNLESS they don't stand in line with human intellect and *objective* (not subjective) truth. Islam is objectively the truth. I hope this man keeps seeking from an intellectual standpoint. And it's not surprising that the Priest could not answer his questions but rather deflected. He should ask all of his questions to known Islamic Scholars. Any question he may have has already been addressed hundreds of years ago by scholars.

I'm sorry when the priest could not even answer the question you asked but instead deflect it, did not convince me at all, but I do like the answer he told you which could be said for all Religion, not just Christianity. What studied did he learn from Islam exactly? I heard more about Christianity than Islam. No evidence or facts just based on opinion.
At the end of the day it's not Islam that's bad, it's the people that make it worse. Bringing up killing in Islam is not all facts. Everyone kills, every day on the news people are killing others, and they're not even Muslim, they are Christians, but the media don't say that. Exactly why Jesus died for your sins when you guys are the ones who killed him in the first place. So we can't compare the religion when it's not the cause, but instead, it's the people. Iran can change but at the end of the day we belong to Allah and we all will return to him.

People think that God is here and He knows the future. But this is NOT POSSIBLE. Why? When in the past God knew the WHOLE future He simply COMMANDED his power "let all this be (but without me)". That's all. By doing so there was no later obligation for God to PERSONALLY take the God's actions SET OUT in that determined future. God's work was OVER, He was immediately FREE from any duty. This means that God is not here now and the God's words are automatically spoken by his power alone. Since the God's words we hear are spoken by NOBODY, we say that God is a spirit ("God is a spirit" John 4, 24).

Jesus didn't fail at all and he fulfilled the prophecies, if you read the bible you will realize that a sacrifice was needed and the ancient Israelites used to sacrifice spotless lambs for the forgiveness of sins and jesus was the ultimate sacrifice that will cleanse us from all our sins.
The reason why the jews did not accept him was because their hearts were hardened and even if jesus showed them proof through his miracles they still wouldn't believe.
