Dr. Octagon is the album/cd that turned me on to Kool Keith. In 1996 I bought it from Music Land / Sam Goody in the mall just because I loved the cover and it really peaked my interest. At the time I just turned 16 and all the $$$ I made went to my car, speakers, system, & CDs. I remember I kinda forgot about Kool Keith after this album until like the year 2000. I missed buying Kool Keith’s 2nd major release solo “Black Elvis” in 1998 1999? I bought Esham’s “Tongues” album in 2000 and Kool Keith was all over that album and Esham & Kool Keith were like Kool Aid & Sugar on albums, they paired perfectly. Anyway, MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Kool Keith Album was released in late 2000 or early 2001, I can’t remember, but that album SPANKMASTER released under Eaham’s Record Label along with TVT Records. Produced all by Kool Keith, Esham, & Santos. It’s definitely my top 10 favorite albums ever. It’s highly slept on but also takes me back to my early 20’s, making great $, nice cars, & good friends hanging in clubs all weekend blowing your paycheck partying and bumping this album all night! Great memories.
one of the best albums ever made
Kool Keith IS the most consistent Lyricist of all time. “Ease Back” to “Broadway Billy”

Kool Keith one of the most prolific and underrated emcees of that era.
I first heard Bear Witness on the old skate video series "411".
Create rap music 'cause I never dug disco!
I still have my original 1996 Bulk Recordings 2LP.
