I found you when I bought my first TN a month ago I’ve fallen in love with your videos and your style and just the calmness you bring into this world! I’ve been so stressed since before COVID then COVID hit so I’ve been trying to distress anyway possible. I’ve always loved stationary my whole life, Moleskine is still one of my favorites. However, I have been opened to a whole new world with Asian culture and quality in their products especially their stationary! Your voice is so soothing and I appreciate you so much!! Much love to you and your family and hope you’re all well!
I love the look and feel of well worn leather. The scratches and scuffs give the notebooks so much character. So much so that I would say that each "lady" (since you refer to them as she and they have too much gravitas to be a girl) has her own personality.
I just started using TN and I've been loving it. Was paranoid when I got my first scratch on it but I realized later on that it made my TN more beautiful. I hope I could buy another one and collect it like yours lol. But I love your collection anyways ♥♥♥♥
Honestly, I don't think they intentionally change the leather texture/colour, I think it's just due to the leather stock they get. It's a natural material and no two hides will be exactly the same, each batch will vary because that is just the nature of leather.
The insides of brown leather is changed due to complaints from customers. They notified about it in their website back in the days. The hue of camel got severely darker after the covers no longer were "Midori". I didn't know about this only after about I had received my order, was not a nice surprice. Latest blues are almost dark green, they are so dark petrol. Fabulous colour.
Heh! I've enjoyed this and it caused me to pull out all of mine. I have 7 total one of each in Passport and Standard, no Olive either. All of mine are Traveler's Notebook Traveler's Company Japan Made in Thailand. They were the first leather covers I could find when I started this journey. They were in 2 places in town, so I could get or order refills for the different sizes in person without problems. I confess that I do something really bad to mine, I actually coat them with a hair construction cream that deepens them and makes them so interesting to touch. This EVO Crop Strutters Construction Cream I use helps buff out all the scratches and the leather just doesn't look dry anymore. The tan went to a nice cognac color, so beautiful. I'm not saying people should do this, it's just what I did and I enjoy the process of using my fingers to apply and rub into the leather. Plus my fingers feel and smell wonderful after as do my covers. If a person wanted to differentiate them even more just do one of them, and leave the other one to patina naturally. The ONLY struggle I have is how to utilize them all MORE as I am also in love with Filofax rings for planning and wallets. Thus my pack is always heavy, but in a great way. Thanks for reminding tonight how great the uncomplicated, simple style and system of the Traveler's Notebooks are. I've just gooped them all and tomorrow they will be a delight to play with and set up. Cheers!
I have the Camel regular size that I have two inserts in one I put pictures for travel/roadtrips and seconed for events like birthdays and parties. I just ordered a blue TN to keep as a diary to write more of my feelings.
I'm pretty much the same with my TNs. My Camel passport TN's role is to be a travel journal for only small, in-land travels; my Olive regular is for "real" traveling (only used it once, for my trip top Tokyo in '19 and now it's waiting for the next trip in -hopefully- '22); my Brown regular is like a place to put down everything related to my art-stuff (when to update my webcomic, when to work on the next pages so my buffer keeps being... well, a buffer, etc.) and my Blue passport TN is kiiinda my everyday carry, just that I don't actually carry her everywhere bc I don't want her get scratches all over the place.
I was in two minds in buying either the blue TN of he camel. I've been wanting to buy a TN for 5 years now and finally bought one a few months ago. I decided to go with the camel as it was always my first love...and was SO disappointed with the new color :(
Currently using my traveler's notebook for morning pages! I’ve been following the journaling community, especially Michelle for a while. Recently made printables if anyone's interested > www.etsy.com/shop/MelodyAminianDesigns
I'm on the fence about the blue Traveler's Company...do you think it has darkened or lightened over time? I would expect it to darken, but I'm not positive. It's already so close to black, that I'm hesitant. And I'm still kicking myself that I passed on the olive. :(
seeing those camel and blue really made it difficult for me to choose my first TN lol i wanna match the camel with my bag but i also want to match the blue with my card holder, i think i need help lol🙈
Oh, and sorry about the ads. YT sets the default amount based on how long the video is, but I'll have to remember to adjust the amount manually moving forward.🥴
i love listening to her voice its so soothing

I've been waiting for this video in my dreams :D Seeing new TNs is always a great thing! xx
I NEED an inside look at that blue one!! I’m obsessed
I thought I was the only one who loves notebooks so crazy! But, happy to found all of u 😊🥰
Just love hearing people gushing about their traveler's notebooks 😍

I have missed your TN posts especially your passport TN. So happy seeing you adding the black passport to your collection 💛🤎🖤💛🤎🖤
It feels good to be using them again! I'm excited to setup my new black passport! A great way to keep me busy while stuck at home, lol. ;)
Seaweed Kisses looking forward to your next video on the setup and how you’ll be using it 🖤
The blue one is gorgeous!!!!!

Yeeess! These are always so relaxing to watch!
ASMR Traveler's Notebook tapping and scratching...

I really like the original camel. 😀
Beautiful collection!
I have the Camel regular size that I have two inserts in one I put pictures for travel/roadtrips and seconed for events like birthdays and parties. I just ordered a blue TN to keep as a diary to write more of my feelings.
My travelers notebook inserts each will have a theme to it so I try to combine inserts into a cover that make sense going together.

The baby blue edition is so pretty...
Thank you! It was so much fun setting it up!
I love my olive
Blue one looks amazing
So much beauty 😍
The new camel looks like caramel.

I'm trying to pick a size to use as a weekly to do list planner for work.. If you had to choose a size...?
Newbie here! getting ready to jump on the TN bandwagon. Where do you purchase yours from? Amazon? Jetpens? Can't wait to get one!
Hi! What do you mean by saying “they don’t do like this anymore” at 2:50 about your old standart-size TN? The quality has changed a lot?
Oh, I watched the video some more and I understood)
I bought a travelers company notebook from Amazon. How can I tell it’s a fake? The o’s seem off to me.

Thanks for following along and sharing!
Nothing to do with the video. Just love your ring. Where did you get it?
Cute👌
Hello I like your videos. Do you know if the midori can be painted another color?
I'm on the fence about the blue Traveler's Company...do you think it has darkened or lightened over time? I would expect it to darken, but I'm not positive. It's already so close to black, that I'm hesitant. And I'm still kicking myself that I passed on the olive. :(
Hi Michelle. What do you do with past years inserts?
Hello! I keep and store them in a box. :)
Love your collection! Is there any trick to keeping the covers velvety?
Hmmm, just normal use? If you like that velvety feel, then definitely no not use a leather wax on it.
ooooo Nice.
Any chance we'll get a lil peek into your TN, Juan?🙈😉
I'm also a Michelle. And my morning nurse is also named Michelle.
Hello, Michelle!
Lighter camel is more beautiful in my opinion.
Yes, I prefer the lighter tone as well.🤩
seeing those camel and blue really made it difficult for me to choose my first TN lol i wanna match the camel with my bag but i also want to match the blue with my card holder, i think i need help lol🙈
Why not get both!.... ;)
Seaweed Kisses that's not a bad idea but i only need one right now so i might flip a coin to decide the first one 😆
The latest blues are almost dark green, they are so "tealy".
Is anyone else seeing the video jumping every few seconds?
Oh no! Hope the video isn't glitchy on your end.😞
You are nice
I enjoyed the video, but I do think it is a bit weird that you assign gender to your notebooks. OMG and all the ads!
Haha..I'm weird, I know. I guess because the journals are an extension of me, I just naturally say "she..." 😭🙈🙈
Oh, and sorry about the ads. YT sets the default amount based on how long the video is, but I'll have to remember to adjust the amount manually moving forward.🥴
